okay…sooo…I tried to give dude the benefit of the doubt. Looking at it from an artistic standpoint, the dance wasn’t necessarily distasteful and he did very well. And all people praise differently. The guy seemed sincere in his praise. However, because of what “pole-dancing” commonly represents or is perceived as, it’s looked at as ridiculous or unholy. Personally, I give the guy 2 thumbs up.

Why are people so judgemental? He’s not doing anything disrespectful. I’ve seen people do a lot worse in a church before….He’s fully clothed and he’s not popping and locking. I’m sure “god” would be a lot more upset about people judging and calling people “gay” and “homothugs” than someone praising him in his own way

Reading that someone said that deeply saddens me. Isn’t one of our duties as believers is to bring folks to Christ? Yet OUR actions tend to push them away. Please rest assured that not all spiritual believers are as judgmental and condemning as you are led to believe. The love and practices of Christ are beautiful things and feeling the presence of the Lord is a feeling that can’t really be described in words. Don’t let those who are lost in their anger turn you away from God. He is inside of you and has always been. Just forget about the rest of the world and seek HIM inside of you where he really resides. When you do true spiritual knowledge and divine universal love will truly start to unfold in your life.

Art is art. Pole vertical or horizontal. The grace was impeccable, the beauty, breathtaking. If Jesus can convert a so-called harlot to a righteous woman, why can’t he change a so-called stripper pole to an object to praise God with? I don’t understand. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

OK so let me first start my saying that JUDGE NOT LEST YOU BE JUDGED!! Second of all lets state that unless you have something nice to say lets not say it at all! Another important point is that you need to go the source and know the individual and what is behind what they do and who they are before you can hang somebody up on a sacrificial statement when you have no idea behind the act! Things are not always what they seem and if they are who in the world are you to say anything about it! Last time I checked Jesus has not returned yet and he is the only one with the authority to make any judgemental comments! So lets keep these things in mind when responding to somebody’s act of free expression!!
