*Exclusive* Marc: “Just Stay Home and Raise These Darn Kids”

These two refuse to stop fighting, but they are doing their damndest to hold on to their marriage. A Bossip earhustler shot over some info about their latest fight:
A Bossip source states: They’re continually having problems. She has put aside work for marriage and babies and Marc really prefers that because he’s very controlling. Of course, she’s used to working a lot and wasn’t happy not being busy with music or film. She’s just started filming again and it’s completely brightened her mood. But, now Marc is pissed that she’s not complying with his wishes. I’m not sure if it will last much longer at this rate.
For some reason, we still think that these two might just fight it out and be happy in say…15 years.

I could tell that this marriage was not all gravy, she does not even look the same anymore, JLO use to have a GLOW about her and now she looks old and pale. Marriage is about compromise. Did she not know the man she was marrying felt this way about his family life? I find that hard to believe. More than likely, IF this is the case, she thought she could “change him”. Mistake- you can’t. But all in all, I see them making it through. Seems like Latinos have a much higher rate of success in their marriages. Probably because they stay married through just about anything, but so what. That’s one attribute I ain’t mad at….WORK IT OUT!
Also, I think Marc Anthony is attractive and a good actor, a little skinny, but still….

@ misunderstood – I completely agree. That movie was so underrated by the critics and moviegoers but the acting was superb, and they were both brilliant in their roles. After the movie, I rhapsodied Hector Lavoe and Willie Colon, and have been a fan ever since!
Hope these two can make it work. It sounds like she is just a strong, independent spirit and he wants traditionalism. Marriage is mostly work, with playtime in between. Anyone who says otherwise has never been married.
As for the comments about their kids, that’s just cruel.

Well, unfortunately since this is a Hollywood marriage, it wont last. Those people are of a different breed than we are, so to speak.
It wont last because J-Lo is used to being busy like she said, and is probably NOT used to having a man over her controlling her every move. When that happens, a woman is liable to up and split, with the kids in tow. Marc should have recognized this from the beginning. If she wasnt a “barefoot and pregnant” kinda girl from the get-go, then she wasnt going to continue that once the babies are well beyond a couple of months.
She can be a good mother AND have her career. Hell, look at Julia Roberts. She has like, what? , 3 sets of twins? lol

Sometimes being a wife and mother is just not fulfilling. J Lo is a multi talented individual who has been in the spotlight for many years. It is selfish for any mate to expect his wife to put all of her dreams, ,ideas, goals and p*****ions aside for himself and the children. It is possible to multi task. Marriage is a partnership which entails compromise and sacrifices.

Besides the movie Selena, being the most famous Fly Girl/dancer, and a couple of hit dance songs, her career has been mediocre. The only press she really got was concerning her many many failed relationships, flopped movies (and there are many) and her big butt.

Children can really stress a marriage. Besides the actual work, you have the conflicts on how to raise them and then one parent might be giving the kids more attention than they give their spouse.

This is what happens when two people are in a marriage and their values don’t match up. Now I know this is Bossip we’re dealing with here… don’t know how much of this is real/made up but if this is the case she’s not behaving like a woman who wanted children so badly. Even if she did want them… its not her responsibility alone to raise them. Both parents had or have active careers i think they ned to co-ordinate their time better. A lil give and take on both their sides would be good.

That is funny that you bring that up because Puff like Marc are very controlling men……thats her problem. Jenny needs a strong supportive man who is not intimated by her success. She also needs to take this down time to really enjoy and embrace her children instead of trying to stay relevant.
Right after she had broken up with Ben, Marc was right there for her to cry on his shoulder. It seems like it was a week of them hanging out that Marc left his wife. I will never forget this. He and she was planning their wedding and dating, and he was not even divorce from his wife. His baby was just an infant. I felt for his wife and kids. Also part of the divorce settlement is that the first wive was not to ever talk about Marc and Jlo- book deals, interviews,etc. That first wife just had to go through all the pain with her mouth shut. With that bad karma, I do not think those two will ever be really happy.

Hispanics/Latinos are made up of AFRICAN, European (mainly by the way of Spain and Portugal), and the indigenous people (natives) of their countries. When referring to Puerto Ricans, those people would be of the Taino and Arawok tribe. This is true for ALL of the Carribean, Central AND South America. The only thing that changes is the various tribes of the Natives.
The only difference between Hispanics and African Americans is that we have a stronger Native influence in our bloodlines–this is because the White man didn’t fully kill off the Natives of our lands like they did here in the US.

I am with you. I actually followed Marc Anthony when he remarried his first wife and then he got with JLo. I don’t care what anyone says she was TIRED and RAN THROUGH!!!
