We have given the reigns over to the black women to treat us like little boys crying for their mommies, it’s natural for them to accept this role because that’s what their built for. I am a gay black man and I am bitter I can’t find another gay man with whom I can share my life. I am not into screwing anyone I come accross I am human and I was not trying to disrespect any black woman. My main concern if for us gay men who struggled to be comfortable with who we are to be blamed for DL and other mindless gays who don’t want to be outed so they live double lives. I am not anywhere near as flamboyant ( if that is how its spelled) as the boy above however I don’t judge him because he is proud of who he is. I think that when you except yourself, don’t let just anybody in your life because its hard to find Mr. Right and be patient there will no need to bash gays or black men.

You know it is for this very reason, this ignorance that many young children feel outcast throughout their lives. To be judged by a family member or other individuals who should love them unconditionally, is WRONG. Not everyone grows up to be straight and the fact that society is finally embracing those who are not, is not a sign of the times, but a sign of acceptance. Something any African American SHOULD understand. I am an educated, black woman who has been in receipt of this venomous hatred for being black as well as for loving another woman. I no longer am affected by this, but I do not like to see people take their ignorance out on children. Race and gender identity go hand in hand in that it flows to the core of whom a person is. It is NEVER right for a child to be unaccepted for who they innately are, be it black, gay, overweight, short, mixed, dark skinned, albino or whatever. I feel sorry for persons who live in a bubble of ignorance and those who follow along with it due to lack of understanding or being able to think on their own. The fact of the matter is people who are different from you have and will ALWAYS exists. If you choose to live a limited existence by judging anyone who looks, lives or simply is different, then you are choosing a life of limitations. If indeed you are a parent whose child is showing signs of difference, whatever that might be, and you choose to “rid” them of this behavior, you are doing years of psychological damage to your child. And note, your child may one day decide to take themselves out because if they are not accepted by the person(s) who gave them life, then how can they expect anything else from the world. There are too many parents who have lost children because of their own limited thinking and I assure you, even if only in sleep, they live with regret.
