Duke Williams, a safety on the Buffalo Bills, showed the risk athletes run by using social media — or specifically direct messages. Over the last couple months Williams sent some messages to adult star (and noted FSU fan) Mia Khalifa. She never responded and on Sunday decided to take a screenshot of the DMs and post it to Twitter.
Perhaps Williams was just unlucky that his number got called instead of someone else’s. Either way the NFL’s rookie symposium likely added another chapter for handling social media.
Suffice to say it’s been an eventful 24+ hours for the Bills organization. Rex Ryan’s first training camp press conference next month figures to be more interesting than usual.
How many more thirsty ballers and rappers will shoot their shot until they realize they’re about to be exposed??
