Construction Company Says Couple Refused To Pay For Building Work; Couple Already Owe $3.3 Million In Back Taxes

A construction company has accused Tamar Braxton of refusing to pay them for work they did on her Georgia home—adding to the long list of financial troubles for the singer and her husband Vince, which adds up to $3.3 million dollars they owe to various creditors.

Braxton is accused of hiring the company Firestar Inc. to do work on her pad – they specialize in disaster repair and say they provided services, workers and equipment for Tamar at her home in Atlanta.

The company explains they spent hours on fixing up her property but when the bill was due on March 6th, Braxton has refused to pay up, and now they have slapped her with a lien for not paying them.

The document states the unpaid balance comes to ONLY $863.38 and they have slapped the lien against her property, meaning they would collect on their debt if she was to sell it off.

Makes you wonder why Braxton couldn’t pay up on such a small bill.

However, it’s the latest in a string of financial troubles for Braxton and husband Vince. The feds slapped the music mogul with a federal tax lien recently, accusing him of owing them $3.3 million dollars in back taxes for the years 2010, 2011 and 2013.
