Word on the street is Nas and Kelis’ had more issues than infidelity to worry about. Supposedly, Nas doused Kelis face with Patron at a club and has been violent with her before:
It’s bad enough that Nas supposedly threw a glass of Patron in Kelis’ face before abandoning her at a London club, if all the sordid-but-juicy details about their split in The MOST!, Vibe’s new tabloid, are correct. But last week, Nas thought it was a classy idea to post photos of himself partying with groupies on Turks and Caicos — even as his estranged wife sat home, eight months pregnant. Nas’ rep didn’t return our call, and Kelis — who filed for divorce in April — had no comment. But on Thursday, the singer commented for herself on Twitter. “All the s— bag coward husbands and the less-than-impressive sluts unite! You can all go down in flames together! Hooray!”
Do you think a drink in the face is better than a Breezy fist or is it just as disrespectful? What a mess. SMH

I just read Carmen’s book and if there is any truth to this story and her book it’s really, really sad. Although, noone knows what’s really going down in Nas/Kelis divorce thing: disrespecting a woman in public or at home is just dead wrong. Not to mention she is with child.
I am a huge fan of his earlier music, but who knew Nas had a brother that wrote most of his rhymes?? Whom he never gave credit to?? Wow Nas, that’s all I can say right about now.

actually the incident took place in London with the drink issue long ago…she’s not in London at this present moment though and we all pretty much know that…would hate to leave you in the dark if I’m standing in the light.
As for Kelis: she portrayed herself as one who could be a handful and one who was down with the wild ride but it’s changing as she draws near to being a mother.
As for Nas: bad decision to act that way…justified??? MAYBE, but bad decision. Wish their business was kept quiet, how many other of my good brothers has to be tainted in the media over one bad *****in decision over all the good decisions he made…I didn’t see any other rapper besides Mos Def and Talib Kweli helping Nas lead a protest against Fox News but oh well…let’s just ***** up another black man’s image…and let’s not even blame it on the whites…let’s tear him down ourselves.
I have learned not to take anything that bossip says as truth. Who is this source of information? It just says word on the street. Was their a police report? Did they name the eyewitness who seen this altercation take place? I think Bossip wants as many posts on this story and don’t care whether it is fact or fiction.

You cant beleive everything you hear or read. You know what would be really funny is if they got back together….. then what. In real relationships people go through real things. They are just celebrities so we hear about it & form oppinions. Plenty of couples go through this mess. I’m a fan of both Nas and Kelis.
