The Knowles did right by Kelly and the other girls. They took Kelly in and raised her while her mother was a live-in mammy for da white folks. It was the Knowles who almost lost their marriage and livelihood to support the girls’ career. It ain’t no secret that Bey was the Diana Ross of the group but the Knowles’ generosity is allowing Kelly and Michelle to live off of their royalties for the rest of their lives.

I respect Kels because she always gives the Knowles their props for being there for her. If not for the Knowles she would be scrubbing toilets alongside her mother and she knows it. Folks can call it *****licking all they want but Kelly knows the real deal. Matthew at least made sure the other two girls would be financially set before launching Beys’career. If that’s not generosity I don’t know what is.

If Kels didn’t like it or felt she was being used, then she would have taken to stepping like the other girls did. And for all those “why doesn’t she go back to school, etc” answer this “Go to school and do what?” Obviously most of yall ain’t in the working world. That college degree don’t get you sh-t unless it’s a medical degree and even then you may make a million a year as a surgeon (and thats when you’re in your 40s). Kels is worth several million in royalties alone.

Whatever the Knowles reasons for dealing with the other girls, it is paying them financially. Kells and Michelle are making more than someone with ten phds. here we go again – all of the knowles bashing and kelly “shoulda been left them” and “thats her daddy” *****. first of all, kelly is a ole’ grown lady, if there is ever a question regarding her biological father and she wants to put that to bed, she needs to just step up and handle that. Either say he is, or prove he ain’t. She claims she knows her biological father and he was abusive, that’s why her mom left him and she ended up moving in and living with the knowles.

as far as she can do better with another manager. ok, she has the same manager who manages jermaine dupri. what? you leave management with an international clientele (even if it’s only one, it’s the best one, ’cause bey is KILLIN’ IT) and go to a manager who is managing a music executive who is reduced to doing his own youtube videos to stay relevant?

Why do you think it took this long for someone to sign kelly? because there is very little potential there, and any manager worth a dime knows her affiliation with the knowles was her ticket. she is not a solo artist, she is only relevant as an artist because of DC. stand her now against monica, keyshia, mjb, brandy,rhianna, chrisette, jazmin, ciara. she is going to come up short.

its a shame because i think she was just fine being a part of DC, and after that was done, just moving on to married life with children. when that didn;t work out for her, she got twisted, start letting people get in her ear, and started believing them. regardless of whatever, her run with mathhew knowles made her a rich woman with a lot of opportunity that a whole lot of more talented artists will never get.

one day she is going to look back on all of this and realize she took the wrong path.

if you read any of her earlier interviews you know that she wanted a simple married life as a wife and mother. she was so happy to be planning her wedding and getting married and that situation really shook her, then she started doing what other people wanted and expected her to do. Part of the reason she is not as successful as a solo artist is you can tell her heart is not in it.

I don’t care what anyone says, it was obvious from Day one that Bey was the star and the standout in the group. The others didn’t stand out. That is why they can’t make it w/o Bey. If they were so talented they would be much further ahead by now. I think Kelly should move to Europe where she will get more respect because she really doesn’t have what it takes to be a star. Dat’s just the way it is. Deal with it. Even Stevie Wonder and a resurrected Ray Charles can see that Bey was the sh-t and the other girls just backup.

Ever since Michelle fell on 106 and Park and was looked at (by Beyonce and Kelly) like she was stupid, I haven’ cared too much about the moves they make. I like realness and if any of them were a true friend they would have helped her up while singing, it was just a performance.So far as Kelly management issue, ***** happens.
