You know,I am annoyed with people who put all of the blame on Eddie. IT TAKES TWO! If he expressed no interest in having a baby with Mel B., and made it clear that he would have no involvement, why shame on him? That’s the dumb ish YOUNG girls do, when they think “OH IF I HAVE A BABY I CAN KEEP HIM”. Mel B. knew what she was doing, she is not a victim, she chose to have the baby, she chose to have unprotected sex too. AND NO I am no an Eddie fan, I am what’s right is right fan! Take responsibilty for the part you play in the situation, learn from it, grow and MOVE ON!

If, like you state, he indicated that he wanted no part of raising the child or even having one period with Mel B, then what’s up with the unprotected sex??? as we all know, among other things pregnancy usually does result if you engage in intercourse with another and are not using any means of contraception.
If Eddie didnt want this child, especially as a man with countless children already, then one could only *****ume that HE’D be responsible enough to ensure that the pregnancy would never happen…or better yet just would have left Mel alone knowing that she was in fact NOT the female that he would want to spend the rest of his life with.
So with that being said, IMHO, both parties are to blame for the chaos and anguish this lil gyrl is eventually going to have to go through.
I think that what most members are commenting on however is the fact that he blantantly and publicly denounced this little gyrl as if she’s the one to blame here

Mel B is not cute to me. And it’s a shame cause her daughter looks just like her. The baby isn’t ugly, she just isn’t that cute.

You make it seem like she stole his sperm without his knowledge. This isn’t a “keep a n*gga baby”, it’s a child that resulted from 2 adults engaging in sex without contraception. So SHAME ON EDDIE for not being a stand up guy!

Regardless if Angeliris was planned or not it is Eddie’s duty to take responsibility of his actions. If he did not want any children then he should have taken it amongst himself to do what was necessary to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, but this is the past & he needs to focus on the present & the future which is Angeliris. Thanks Bird! From this point on, I will always look at Eddie’s fruity ***** sideways! It isn’t as if she was some random skank who Eddie hooked up with after a night of partying, he was in a relationship with her. I distinctly remember reading about them declaring their love for each other by getting matching tattos and taking family vacations. Although it appears that Eddie isn’t a stand up type of guy, I think it would be best for Mel to maintain a connection with Nicole. In this way, little Angel Iris could have a relationship with her big siblings.

I think the other baby mammas need to take steps in making sure all of them know their brothers and sisters. Yeah, Eddie and Mel effed up but when is someone going to step up and right a wrong?
Nicole Murphy and Mel B did bring the kids together so they know their siblings. That was the mature things for them to do and I’m proud of these mothers for putting the kids first.
