@ COOP…I am glad he did because neither Reasonable Doubt nor Vol. 1 were promoted well. That is why they re-released Reasonable Doubt in 98 or 99.

Maybe if any of the artists had material that was worth pushing then there would be no problem. The problem is that very few of the artists out there know how to make a hit on thier own. They have to depend on a “collabo”. If the material is good then the album will literally push itself. The unfortunate thing of Hov is that at his worth he is better than some peoples best effort.

What has Andre Harrell really done since he left Uptown didn’t he fire Puffy?

Jay Dame and Biggs didn’t sit around waiting on Lyor Cohen to do things for them they got out on the street and promoted themselves.

The record biz is like any other business your going to look and see can you get a good return on your money. Let’s take Meth for example why didn’t he keep putting out albums while he was doing movies that’s free promotion. When Jay puts out KC around the time that he’s working with Bud, HP and TNT that’s free promotion. Ghost had a book deal that he never completed which would have been free promotion is that Jay’s fault he didn’t do it?

What Label is doing better then Def Jam? from what I can tell downloading is hurting everyone.
