“We call Halle my second baby,” the mother to 14-month-old Nahla says of her new signature fragrance, Halle by Halle Berry. From doing scent tests to helping design the bottle itself, the actress was a hands-on “mom” at every step of the creative process. And when it came to choosing notes for the woody oriental, it was love at first sniff. “I was mixing two fragrances – a fig and a mimosa – and putting them in a bottle and carrying them around,” Halle says. “That was my flavor of the moment.”

Rapper 50 Cent has already crossed over to acting, currently filming the new drama Twelve opposite Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford, and now he’s jumping into the fragrance market. A rep from Lighthouse Beauty confirms to PEOPLE.com that the rapper is teaming up with them to release his first fragrance, Power by Fifty Cent. The men’s fragrance and will launch exclusively at Macy’s. Considering all that the mogul has going on, we can’t think of a better name for 50’s scent.
