In support of The Ludacris Foundation, the annual LudaDay Weekend charity event gives back to the Atlanta community through local fundraising. Since its inception in 2005, LudaDay Weekend has consistently grown, attracting supporters from all over the nation. This year’s 10thAnnual LudaDay Weekend will be held over Labor Day Weekend, September 3rd through September 7th.    In 2014, LudaDay Weekend raised over $200,000!

 

Celebrities confirmed to attend this year include: Chris Brown, Dwayne Wade, Gabrielle Union, Terrance J, Usher, Omari Hardwick, Angela Simmons, Joseph Sikora, John Wall, Kenneth Faired, Lance Gross, Angela Yee, and many more.

LudaDay Weekend focuses on giving back to the community through several community initiatives including: providing hundreds of complimentary tickets to Atlanta Braves games at Turner Field, gifting 20 new cars to underprivileged families, donations to Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed’s Centers for Hope and scholarship donations to Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University.

Ludacris has encouraged philanthropy amongst his peers by highlighting local Atlanta-based charities including; Frank Ski Kids Foundation, Inc., Keshia Knight Pulliam’s Kamp Kizzy, Antoine “Big Boi” Patton’s Big Kidz Foundation, Josh Powell’s 21 Reasons Foundation, Get Schooled.org, Do Something, Ryan Cameron Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Atlanta, and Project Walk a Mile in My Shoes.

The Ludacris Foundation focuses on the core values of Wellness, Diversity, Culture and Arts in the community and specifically among youths. The foundation has worked diligently to rebuild Atlanta’s community through initiatives such as green planting and incorporating handicap access rails.  Most recently, local students were rewarded for their hard work in support of the Ludacris Foundation with a special advance screening of “Furious 7”, starring Ludacris.

  • Sunday, September 6:                   Ludacris Foundation Brunch held at the Intercontinental Hotel

Annual Celebrity Basketball Game held at GSU Sports Arena
