Jimmy Fallon Mocks Pitbull on SNL
Jimmy Fallon channeled his inner Pitbull on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. According to Latin Times, the comedian/host of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon donned a bald head, a bit of facial hair, shades and a slick suit to imitate the Miami-bred artist. He def dressed the part of the 32-year-old cubano, we’ll give Fallon that.
The on-point portrayal of Mr. Worldwide was part of a skit/wanna-be commercial that poked fun at those annoying and never-ending NOW albums (this one was called: “NOW: That’s What I Call Christmas”). Other SNL stars dressed up as Michael Bublé (also played by Fallon), Zooey Deschanel, New Zealander Lorde, Alanis Morissette, and Colombian superstar Shakira (who performed the “duet” with Pitbull in the skit). There were also some strange inclusions, including the ever-barking DMX, British-American musician Slash, and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.
We’ve gotta admit; Fallon’s voice during his Pitbull-mocking sounded like the hoarse, harsh Pit we know and love. We wish we could have seen Fallon’s performance at a bar with some ladies though – could he flirt with women the way Mr. 305 expertly does? We doubt it.
