Terrence Howard has confirmed that he’s getting hitched.
S2S was at the Children Uniting Nations Gala in Washington D.C., which followed the 4th Annual Keeping the Promise to Our Children conference. Celebrities came out to support panel discussions during the day, but at night, everyone got down to celebrate a job well done.
There were performances from different artists like Shawn King and David Archuletta. Our favorite, though, was Terrence Howard, who graced the crowd with his soulfully raspy voice. But his main goal at the gala was to get everyone to step up and do more for their communities.
“I’m trying to encourage everyone to do their part with regard to kids, with regard to themselves, with regard to us as human beings,” he said. “If we’re made in God’s image, then act like it.”
But while we were talking to the noticeably upbeat actor we noticed that he was rocking what looked like a wedding ring, so you know we had to ask him if he’d jumped the broom with Zulay Henao.
“Not yet,” he said. “Just engaged.” He went on to reference the Bible, pointing out that, “God said to Adam that it’s not good for the man to continue by himself.”
Terrence took that message to heart, which led him to follow another rule from the Good Book: Ask and you shall receive.
“For the last two years I’ve been praying and saying, ‘I’m no good by myself,’” Terrence told S2S. “’Please give me my complement so that I might be able do the very best that I can.’”
Congratulations to the happy couple.
Not sure what to think. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see who the lucky woman is since he’s chosen not to say her name.
