Nia Riley Talks About Nastassia Smith And Soulja Boy

Love & Hip Hop star Nia Riley has proven to be a dynamic and strong character on the hit VH1 reality show but with the great drama comes great responsibility.

Nia Riley has recently come under fire for her tumultuous relationship with DeAndre Jordan AKA hit rapper Soulja Boy and some messy words she exchanged with her ex-BFF Nas who also so happens to be starring on LHHH this season.

The star chatted with BOSSIP exclusively to talk about her former friendship with costar Nastassia Smith, relationship with Soulja Boy and even issues an apology to Tiny after some scandalous rumors came out about her marriage with rapper T.I. on Instagram.

What is your backstory with Nastassia Smith? You seem to be in a more positive place this season but your new costar has recently revealed her the bombshell news that she had a relationship with Soulja Boy too.

It’s crazy because so many people warned me about her but I always wanted to give her a fair shot because she was a good friend at first to me. We were together all the time and even hung out at Dre’s house in Atlanta when I lived there with him. Later, I decided to move to California to be closer to my family and that’s when things changed in our friendship. I think that’s when Nas decided to move in on Dre when I decided to leave, because she moved in on him closely after I headed to LA a couple months after my dad.

I am still in a more positive space because I know what is true and what’s not real. My relationship with Dre and my family are real. People will always have something negative to say but I’ve grown so much and people will see that.

Do you think Nastassia came on the show to fix your friendship or to get 15 minutes of fame?

The whole thing was initially a surprise because I didn’t even really know she was joining the cast until the last minute and she decided to use me as her plot-line to get on. I’ve realized that with her this isn’t about me or Dre but to get some fame. She’s not real and she clearly doesn’t care. Like I said earlier, I’ve moved onto a happy place in my life so I’m done talking about her because she’s no longer worth my time.

Nia talks more EXCLUSIVELY to Bossip about her relationship with Soulja Boy, new projects and issues a heartfelt apology to Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle next. Hit the flip to read more…
