Mario has had some really good hits recently and this will ruin it for him. He will be voted off early because this is more a popularity show than anything else. How do you think Emmit Smith won? Let’s see. Contestants on DWTS get plenty of media coverage and publicity. He’s mostly known in Black media. This could be a good outlet.
He’s just trying to get bigger record sales and let people who don’t know who he is (WHITE FOLKS) start buying his albums, the guy might have nostrils the size of Chucky Cheese tokens but he can also sing, so I think it was a good move, his pockets will be fatter and all you haters will still be paycheck to paycheck…lol Now if they brought on someone like Aaron Hall then you can say he’s a has been cause he ain’t did ***** in YEARS but Mario got an album out so it doesn’t apply to him..or his nostrils.
Could be a good move if it gets him some media play. I definetly think he is slept on so maybe this will get him some exposure.

DWTS is not a show full of has-beens. For some, it actually HELPED their careers. It helped for Monique Coleman from High School Musical. Even though she didn’t win (she was robbed), it got more people to notice her. She even said so herself in interviews. She’s more than just “the black girl from High School Musical” & it’s because of DWTS that she’s seen as that.

This is actually good exposure for Mario, and I don’t mean that in a sarcastic way! He was on Opera, he’ll be on one of ABC’s bigges shows for as long as he can keep up, and even if he loses he’ll be getting mad media coverage. NTM it’s great to see a young black male with a rough childhood like Mario’s doing something other than the expected! Would you haterz prefer to see him doing a reality show where he casts video hos, or in a movie where he plays a thug of some kind- but then a life altering event changes his life?
I’m just saying so many R&B/Hip-Hop artists become pigeon holed into stereotypical roles or mundane media coverage, it’s great to see one very talent artist doing something to set himself apart from the rest!
Whatever happened to individually, creativity and trying something different? If Mario is attempting to bring it back, then I’m right with him. You have my love and support– GO MARIO! (LOL
