103-Year-Old Woman Banned From Her Home Church Gets To Return

A sickly 103-year-old woman was confronted by police after being banned from her church due to a disagreement over the pastor’s practices.

Union Grove Baptist Church of Elberton, GA issued a letter to Genora Hamm Biggs, a 92-year member of the church, stating that she was displaying conduct ‘detrimental’ to other members. She felt that some of the Pastor’s practices were changing the denomination of the church…and thus was put out.

Looks like Jesus has taken the wheel because the elderly woman has been allowed to return to her home church after the ain’t isht pastor stepped down. According to The Root reports:

Rev. Tim Mattox, who has been pastor of the church for six years said that following news of Biggs’ explusion, he had received death threats. On Wednesday, it was announced that Mattox was leaving along with other members of the congregation to form a new church, at which Biggs would not be welcome.

As for Biggs, she’ll be returning to her church home and has even been handed the key to the church, now responsible, along with a few other members, for electing the new pastor, her attorney Ken Dious told Fox News.

“She’s elated,” Dios said. “This is the only church she’s ever known. It was her grandfather who started that church.”

Thank the lawd!!!
