I personally don’t wear sneakers like that cause I’m a shoe person but I do agree that if you are gonna support an eco-friendly design, support someone that has been doing it and just not on the market cause of a name. Also people are complaining about 100dollars when people will pay 250dollars for some Jordans cause of his name…point is 100dollars is nothin compared to the amount of money we will start kicking out to fix all of our environmental problems.

These votes that are missing will be counted and he will get his just dues. Just wait and see. The Democratic Party knows that Obama is keeping the Black vote, which hasn’t been this ethusiastic for a canidate in how long? He’s pulling the young vote, and the average age of Americans is 35. He’s bringing Republicans and Indpendents over to the party. Why would they risk this new surge in favor of Clinton who the populous is not voting for.

Obama is the MAN- 9 wins so far. HA. I love my black folks whenever we do something positive, we always do it big. Our ancestors are smiling right now, saying, all this was worth it. Obama will defintely go down in history.

I haven’t worn Nike in a minute but I’d buy these. I think it’s a great idea. It recycles waste it keeps them from increasing waste by making sneakers from new raw materials. More companies are going to be doing things like this in the future, bet on it.

@Bohwe is this Dan. yeah that’s pretty sad how the people so called democrats are participating in the same practices as the c.i.a. during the past to presidential elections. i.e. “stealing votes” matt drudge been reported how there was a controversy over the votes in CT, thus Obama was the lead but Hil-liar somehow trailing came around by the end to grab the delegate votes by an impressive margin. the polls have been fixed, don’t forget these electronic machine are big business. NY still has manual voting booths but if votes are hidden, how will they be counted? Jim Crow existing in 2008?

For me, it’s not the fact that it’s trash, it’s the fact that there’s such a high price on both it and the products from which such ‘trash’ was salvaged, for me.

No one should spend $600 on a pair of distressed blue jeans, either. And yet, people do. They want that label, nevermind that it was made in the same plant by the same people, on the same tables making the exact same jean with a lower brand name.

I’m all for recycling. The world is not in a position to waste anything. Recycled is cool. Fake ‘Live Green’ is not.

You know how notebook paper will say that it’s post-consumer instead of pre-consumer? Well, were those shoes made of materials which would be recycled anyway? or has Nike been wasteful all this time? How many of their shoes have pre-consumer material? Why aren’t all of their shoes made of it? Why wasn’t this done before? Technology? or has it?
