Bossip has learned from a well placed source that XXL has a new Editor-In-Chief. Last month we told you that Elliot Wilson’s checks stopped coming in. The interim EIC left us wondering about the mag’s direction, but we’re happy to announce that Datwon Thomas has officially taken the helm.

From what we’re told, Thomas has been on his grind at XXL for 10 years, starting as an intern. Dude really deserves this one. Now if he can do something about getting some better beefcake for the cover than Snoop’s skinny ass, he’ll have our official stamp of approval.
