My mother is a friend of Tina Knowles. They often go to the same nail/hair salon together and catch up whenever Tina is in town. Tina told my mother that her and Mathew have been seperated for at least a year now and are living in different homes even though they have kept their main house.
Tina spends all her time running around after Beyonce and Solange and focusing on the clothing line which has kept her busy through the seperation. You won’t see them getting divorced anytime soon and they also remain dedicated to supporting both of their daughters. Mathew’s narrowmindness and lies have seen Tina turn her back on him and his dealings. She will always love Mathew but she can no longer live in his controlling ways.
Mathew’s a straight dictator. That’s why Bey hasn’t popped out any kids for Hov and why he’s tryin’ to bar LeToya from performing at the BET awards.

Solange married college football player Daniel Smith in 2004. Daniel and Solange met when he was in 10th grade and she was in 8th grade. They married when Daniel was a junior in college (in 2004). If Beyonce is now 37 and Solange is now 32, then Daniel must be 34 years old. That means that Daniel would have been 29 years old and Solange 27 when they married. He would have also been a 29 year old college athlete in 2004. There is no age limit for playing college football, but a 29 year old college athlete is rare.

I don’t believe Bey is 37 but I don’t believe she is 27 either. Putting back your age has become a standard in Hollywood. Alica Keys, John Legend and Aston Kutcher have all put their ages back. Demi & Aston are only 10yrs apart not 15. Alicia & John did not graduate high school at 16. If I had to guess, I would guess that Beyonce is around 31 or 32.

To accommodate her touring and performing schedule, Beyonce entered into a home schooling/tutoring program under the supervision of Alief Elsik High School and she did, in fact, graduate from there. Her father insisted that she complete high school and he has said in several interviews that he would have insisted that she go to college and prepare for a traditional career if the entertainment career had not taken off.
I know it makes some people feel better to say:
“Yeah, she’s rich and successful, but she didn’t finish high school and she lies about her age.”
Like I said, if you know a person’s real name, then their age, date of birth, place of birth, and schools they attended is public information and easy to find out.
Considering that Beyonce’s parents are supposed to be so “s*****bish”, does it stand to reason that they would allow their daughters to have the negative social stigma of being a high school dropout attached to them?

I can’t vouch for anyone, because i don’t know what these people go through in their homes. All we see is the perfect picture outside with all the fake smiles. Whether true or not, I’m not surprised. When priorities change, and money, status, control, ego, and competition starts taking place in marriage, all other things, that takes away the time spent or attention between husband and wife, divorce happens.

Your response shows some ignorance of how the United States secondary education system works. Once a person drops out of high school, they cannot go back and take some type of test to get a high school diploma. They can get a General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.). However, GED’s are not administered from a particular high school.
Beyonce, like many underage performers, did “drop out” of a regular cl*****room environment and continued her high school education through a home schooling and tutoring program. Most high schools in the USA have accomodations for these type situations or even for people who want to home school their children.
As I said before, Houston’s Alief Elsik High School lists Beyonce as one of their graduates. No one has ever come forward with any verifiable information to the contrary. Nor has anyone been able to prove that she is older that she purports to be.

This is my first time coming to this website…I find it interesting how engaged some people are with the lives of people who aside from their celebrity are otherwise unknown to them! I don’t know any of them at all, so anything I say is mere speculation, but I was traveling through Houston once a few years ago and caught some radio show and they were speaking with both Beyonce and Tina on the phone. Had they not said that they were speaking with Tina and Beyonce Knowles I would have thought that they were just your run of the mill around the way folks. Tina and Matthew look like the type of people who put on airs but I didn’t gather that from the way she and Beyonce were speaking on air. I was actually taken aback by how uncouthe they sounded. I have also heard Solange on an interbiew not too long ago and she was also rather “around the way girlish” !! I love most of Beyonce’s music… I just think that we are a little oversaturated with her right now! You have to give the girl her props though, whether she is 27 or 37 ( and 37 isn’t “old”) She is an extremely successful african american woman and she is married to an equally successful african american man.
