Ashley Madison Sued For More Than $5 Million—But It’s Not Why You May Think

According to TMZ, a man by the name of David Poyet has filed a lawsuit because he feels that the company behind Ashley Madison misled him. Apparently, he believes that the hookup platform didn’t provide him with enough opportunities to cheat… Poyet claims that one of the major reasons he joined the site was because it bragged of having a female roster of about 5.5 million, which is 30% of Ashley Madison users. However, July’s hacking scandal revealed that in actuality, women only populate 15% of AM’s membership. He alleges that there may have only been 12,000 real women on the website, which means that AM was comprised of mostly men who were trying to pick from a tiny pool of women. Poyet is seeking to make it a class action suit lawsuit for unfair and fraudulent business practices. He’s requesting more than $5 million,

Jeezy Beats Former Manager In $5 Million Lawsuit

…The Snowman was out in Atlanta court finally putting to rest a three-year-old lawsuit involving his former manager/business partner who was trying to recoup what he thinks he was owed. Via TMZ: Young Jeezy will stay $5 million richer … a jury of his peers just ruled a man claiming to have helped launch the rapper’s career gets nothing. Jeezy was in an Atlanta courtroom on Friday for his legal battle with Ellerbee Demetrius, a man claiming to be Jeezy’s bff since ’95. Demetrius says he’s the one who helped Jeezy establish himself in the music biz, and in return he said he was owed money from at least 4 of Jeezy’s albums… Jeezy denies cutting ANY music deals with Demetrius, and says they’re far from BFFs. The jury agreed … case closed. By the way, Jeezy’s eighth studio album, Church in These Streets drops on November 13.
