But I get so sick of hearing people complain about how terrible Metro is. Nothing and nowhere is perfect. DC has one of the best and CLEANEST public transportation systems in our country.

I am truly grateful that my mother stayed home yesterday, as she is typically coming into Takoma or Fort Totten around the time those trains collided. Prayers and blessings to those who were lost and to those who experienced loss.

Why does this always happen in the D.C. area? I remember back in 96′ I lost about 8 good people from Harper’s Ferry Job Corps in a tragic train accident.
