T.I. Catches a Deadly Virus Behind Bars?

Damn, ole boy just got locked up and now he’s fighting some deadly virus. T.I. can’t catch a break. Pop the lid for more
Incarcerated rapper Clifford “T.I.” Harris’ Arkansas prison has reportedly been hit with an unknown virus outbreak which has resulted in suspended visiting hours.
While the rapper’s health condition is currently unknown, the virus is reportedly spreading throughout the facility.
Authorities say visits with inmates have temporarily been suspended at the federal prison in Forrest City because of an illness outbreak. The prison says visits have been temporarily suspended because of a number of inmates with a “suspected gastrointestinal virus.”
Prison officials say they don’t yet know what’s sickened the inmates, but that they don’t suspect swine flu. A prison official says visiting hours will resume once the virus is contained. (WXVT News)
Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson Traci Billingsley has confirmed the virus’ existence.
A number of inmates recently became ill and have been treated at the prison, said Traci Billingsle. The symptoms appear to dissipate within 48 to 72 hours, she said. “Swine flu is not suspected because these all are all gastrointestinal-related,” Billingsley said. Visits were suspended Friday.
They will resume when medical personnel are certain there is no risk of exposure, Billingsley said. The prison in Forrest City is a low-security facility housing male inmates, including rapper T.I., who is serving a yearlong sentence on a weapons charge. (The Morning News)
No information on Tip’s health conditions have been released as of today (June 22).
Let’s just hope his cell mate wasn’t the one spreadin’ the virus.

doesn’t haven’t to be sexually transmitted. I was arrested, spent 3 days in jail and somehow caught a cold sore and a incredibly serious upper respiratory infection and I was denied medical attention during my 2 week house arrest. There were a few times when my lungs stopped working within a 2 month period. Jails and prisons don’t care for their inmates health, which we the outsiders believe they aren’t worthy of, but not all prisoners are the criminals the courts say we are and it’s inhumane. For you dumb *****s to suggest it HAS to be gay sex related, hope and pray that you are never wrongfully accused and end up locked up and suffer from some unknown (sometimes manufactured) virus.

That’s a messed up situation to be in trapped like a rat in box I had a similar thing to happen when I was in the Navy on an aircraft carrier all you can do is keep your hands clean and make sure your dishes get cleaned real good. We even had a group of nasty guys that would’nt take baths and ended up haveing a real bad body lice breakout it was F’d up had to wash my own clothes & bed sheets could’nt send it to the ships laundry just to keep from getting caught up in that ish
Hes not sick nor is it life threatining why do these sites have to over dramatize every story its just a stomach virus and its makes you real sick for 2 days my cousin is in there and the prison official told us alot of inmates are throwing up and have bad diahrea thats all, but I guess to tell the truth woudnt make people hit up thier site…

Um let me get this straight. The info clearly says TI’s medical condition is unknown and there’s no confirmation that he even has this virus.
BOSSIP please tell me why under the photo it says “…he’s fighting some deadly virus.” Making statements like this is so IRRESPONSIBLE! There are going to be so many IGNORANT people reading this story who are going to tell all their people “TI got a virus and I know cause I read it on Bossip.” Bossip staff please step up your game.
