Some of you thought Obama lost the state of New York primary but the Mayor of New York City and election officials are saying there was widespread and intentional voter fraud:

Barack Obama’s primary-night results were strikingly underrecorded in several districts around the city – in some cases leaving him with zero votes when, in fact, he had pulled in hundreds, the Board of Elections said yesterday. Unofficial primary results gave Obama no votes in nearly 80 districts, including Harlem’s 94th and other historically black areas – but many of those initial tallies proved to be wildly off the mark, the board said.

In some districts getting a recount, the senator from Illinois is even closer to defeating Hillary Clinton.

Several Clinton backed politicians from Harlem including no-good and “compromised” Charles Rangel may have played a role in the “fraud”. How did that shady “massa” Clinton win Harlem?

We are not joking when we call the Clintons shady. Barack has to watch his back as the shady Clintons will get more desperate.

DALLAS — A veteran Dallas police officer escorting Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s entourage to a rally in Oak Cliff Friday morning lost control of his motorcycle and was killed.

The accident happened on the Houston Street viaduct around 9:20 a.m. The Kawasaki 1000 Police Special motorcycle apparently hit a concrete abutment.

I saw Obama speak on Wednesday and Dallas, and I enjoyed it. I also watched the debate last night I think he did a great job and he has improved a great deal since the first debates.

    I’m convinced Heather is insane…

Flygirl, he had definitely gotten stronger as a debater and I’m glad. I still think that he can be a bit more fluid with his responses and have a bit less, ummmms, at the beginning or between his responses…but hey, that’s nothing a bit of practice/media training can’t help. :-)

  • lollipop2008

Obama has improved greatly as far as debates.

As far as Hillary, she’s so fake!!!

The end of her speech was the worse. How and the hell are you going to weep for veterans that you voted to be sent to a bogus war. Give me a break.

And I’m over hearing about the trauma of Bill’s extramarital affair. I don’t care. Had nothing to do with me. I could care less how strong she is because of it.

Dayum I was saying the SAME thing she seems so FAKE doesn’t she. If you notice she piggy backs on EVERYTHING Obama says even to the extent of..

If thinking clearly and concisely and abstractly means I am insane, than so be it. There are probably about 30 differnt angles that this all could be seen from, and at leat that many paths this could take.

Read the ENTIRE delegate process. on the Republican side, only 1/3 are set in stone.

  • Brooklyn Bombshell

I don’t know what’s worse… cheating or cheating and still losing…. the nomination will never go to Hillary because while we may or may not be ready for a black president… there’s no way in hell men are ready for a woman president. Especially southern men…. history shows it… even when voting rights weren’t open to all citizens… Black men were allowed the right to vote before white women… Obama got this.

I’m curious to know what shady Rangel asked of Obama that he wouldn’t give to him that made him go to the Clinton camp? Ashley this is an old story…

  • James

Whether you choose to believe it or not, Mr. Obama has already won the presidency, it is a fact that he will win and not speculations. I already outlined how he will win in previous posts. And everything seems to go according to plan. Many people will never understand how they are being deceived, because it has been first nature for them to accept things which are not true for so long, and second nature to deny the obvious. Who cares if the Clinton’s stole New York, it doesn’t matter, they are apart of the bigger picture as well, alongside Mr. Obama. I can’t stress how much people should read. try reading or listening to some of Mr. Obamas’ speeches while he was senator for two years, these things are hidden from anyone, it is in plain view, of course Obama won new York, but who cares, he was ordained to be president, just as Mr. Clinton was. Stop accepting things for what you see and begin asking yourself questions, thing logically outside the box, all my posts are meant to make people ask logical questions, they are not meant to be conspiracies, conspiracies can’t be proven, but what i know are facts, that are proven, just look around you and read, thats all.

  • James

He was senator for four years, not two, sorry about that.

  • Raven

    @NotoriousOne

Of course the backroom deals have nothing to do with Rangel’s constituency. These people are politicians before their Black, you better believe that.

    @Heather

How the heck is Ron Paul going to get the nomination? Even if Huckabee and Romney gave him their delegates, he still wouldn’t beat McCain.

And the only commendable thing about “RP” is his stance on Iraq. Ask him what he’s going to do about the economy, he’ll tell you he’ll go along with Bush’s “top down” policy and keep catering to the wealthy. Or ask him about education, and he’ll say, “eff all those mofos. If you ain’t rich, deal.” Or ask him about healthcare, and he’ll say, “It’s fine the way it is.”

    He’s a Republican. I guess you’re also a Republican who doesn’t care about 95% of this country’s welfare.

  • BK All Day

Ashley its in the NY Post archives. There was an article in the post about it last week. I think if you look through mediafakeout archives its on there also.

  • OakCliffChick

@ lovely and amamzing… I totally agree with you. Does anyone even know whether or not there is going to be a recount in New York, b/c that makes no sense that in some districts he has zero votes. I said if it came down to the super delegates and Billary wins. I will never vote again, b/c guess what, that would be a slap in the face to millions of people who voted for Obama. He’s received the majority of the popular vote, which is us THE PEOPLE. If it comes down to some people of power putting Hillary on the ticket, I’m through.

@ Heather…..boo give it up. RP is out of the race. He is not this savior that everyone is going to run to. You sound absolutely ridiculous. 1st off b/c it just overall sounds crazy. 2ndly because these are very specific psychic-like predictions, that no one in their right mind could accurately make. 3rdly you make Ron Paul out to be this savior for all. LOL. I don’t doubt you about the gold and platinum thing until I do my own research, but overall you always sound cuckoo.

Clinton faces claims of borrowed language

    Posted: 11:25 AM ET

Since her campaign leveled allegations of copying at Sen. Obama, observers have pointed out similarity between some of Sen. Clinton’s language and that of her husband.

(CNN) – Hillary Clinton – whose campaign has spent the past several days pointing to instances of borrowed language in the speeches of rival Barack Obama – is being accused of lifting words from one very familiar politician: her own husband, former President Bill Clinton.

During Thursday night’s CNN Democratic debate, Clinton looked to highlight occasions when lines used by Obama have resembled those delivered by his friend and adviser, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick.

Clinton’s closing answer, which brought the audience to its feet, highlighted her personal struggles and the difficulties facing ordinary Americans: “You know, the hits I’ve taken in life are nothing compared to what goes on every single day in the lives of people across our country.”

Shortly after she delivered her closing remark, a reader of Joshua Micah Marshall’s Talking Points Memo Web site noted that the line seemed to bear a resemblance to one her husband was quoted as delivering during his 1992 campaign.

“The hits that I took in this election are nothing compared to the hits the people of this state and this country have been taking for a long time,” her husband was quoted as saying in an article by Anna Quindlen in the New York Times in that November of that year.

Last night, Hillary Clinton also said: “You know, whatever happens, we’re going to be fine. You know, we have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we’ll be able to say the same thing about the American people. And that’s what this election should be about.”

The Obama campaign immediately began circulating a similar comment delivered by former presidential candidate John Edwards. “What’s not at stake are any of us. All of us are going to be just fine no matter what happens in this election. But what’s at stake is whether America is going to be fine,” Edwards said during a December debate in Iowa.

i’m a huge obama fan, don’t get me wrong. but this had nothing to do with the “shady clintons”…as a voter in harlem’s 94th district, this was definitely due to the old and super confusing voting machines that they used in this district and probably in the other districts with issues. i consider myself fairly intelligent and it took me about 5 minutes to figure out what to do- and i still wasn’t sure if it processed my vote. clearly, it didn’t.

  • Flygirl

I heard about Hilary borrowing from Bill’s speech this morning. Justin Farmer on WFAA was like yeah the cable channels will probably be playing this all day.

  • Nita

@ sw wrote, “i’m a huge obama fan,”

That tickles me in a weird way, only because it might be used against him. What other candidates have had ‘fans’ instead of ‘supporters’? Folks might need to be careful on that one, ‘refugee’ versus ‘evacuee’ style.

But thank you so much for the eye witness word on what was going down in Harlem. Why would they put old ass machines out in predominantly black places? That ain’t even right. If you’re going to go old, at least have some machines like in Florida 2000 where in spite of the controversy there was a paper trail. 8 years of this mess (voter issues), and the situation has not been improved.

What else are they saying out in Harlem? What’s going to happen in November? If it’s the same old machines… oh hell no. Is anybody talking about doing right by Harlem and making sure Harlem gets priority on new machines by then?

  • jimjones

Hillary destroyed Barack at the debate last night in Texas. She made him look like an idiot on his health care plan, and she showed that she would know what to do with foreign relations on her first day.

  • rosie

    @ Heather

There is something fundamentally wrong with thinking about health care as something that should be run completely by private, for-profit companies. As Milton Friedman (someone who I’m sure RP loves) points out, the sole purpose of business is to generate money for its shareholders. Insurance companies don’t make money off of keeping people healthy; as Chris Rock put it, “the money’s not in the cure, it’s in the treatment.” Therefore, the entire private health insurance industry is at odds with the goal of public health. This is why we spend more money than any other industrialized country in the world on health care, but have the worst health outcomes – insurance companies make money by paying for your surgery rather than the primary care that could have prevented a medical crisis in the first place.

As for costs, government health care programs actually do a better job at controlling costs than the private sector because they 1) centralize their administrative systems to reduce paperwork flows, and 2) can negotiate better deals with drug and medical supply companies due to economies of scale (this is the same reason why Wal-Mart can sell prescription drugs for $4). 1/3 of private health care costs come from administrative overhead. That said, the government would be in a better position to play hardball with the drug companies if half the Congress weren’t on their payroll.

Charles Rangel may have played a role in the “fraud”. I thank there other, in Clinton

political campaign, that will stoop to low life

    and drity tacit.Congresswoman Maxine Waters

Waters, meanwhile, has been named among the “20 Most Corrupt Members in Congress,” according to the latest poll from Washington D.C.-based watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW).

“Rep. Waters’ family members have used her name and connections to make lucrative commercial deals from which they have reaped personal financial gain in violation of House rules,” CREW said of the eight-term Democrat representing South Los Angeles.

Waters’ daughter, Karen Waters, allegedly received hundreds of thousands of dollars by charging for spots on slate mailers issued by a nonprofit organization that sends sample ballots to voters, according to CREW. Waters’ husband, Sidney Williams, reportedly earned hundreds of thousands of dollars by working as a consultant for a bond underwriting firm that seeks government investment, CREW said. Waters’ son, Edward, also benefited from her political connections involving a county lease to run a golf course in South Los Angeles, according to CREW

Hillary is not doing well in her bid for presidency! As far as her health care proposal; it is wack! Already the poor are struggling to get by, and pay bills. But, she is going to make all working class citizens pay into high health care costs. That is not a good health care plan. She needs to rethink it…And so do you if you believe she did so well last night…

  • Nita

    @ Obamatruthdotorg

folks can go to obamarama.org. their version of events (snipped) is:

    —————————————

A new smear website, ObamaTruth.org, has released a nearly three-minute video called “The Audacity of Barack Obama.” It should come as no surprise that the video — and the website generally — relies on discredited sources and innuendo to tar Sen. Obama. As you can see, the video divides its spurious claims into four chapters. What follows is an effort to shed light on the misleading charges made there, one chapter at a time.

    Chapter 1

The Video’s Claim: “Within months after her husband was sworn in as U.S. Senator, Michelle Obama received a pay increase of $195,000 from the not-for-profit hospital where she works!”

The Truth: Michelle Obama did receive a raise two months after Sen. Obama was sworn in. Why? Because she was promoted to Vice President of University of Chicago Hospitals — a position she had been in line for since joining the hospital in 2002… (then-president Michael) Riordan had discussed the promotion with Michelle Obama before the election, but “she had been reluctant to undertake the commitment until her husband’s Senate campaign was finished,” according to the report. She wanted to be sure they would maintain their primary residence in Illinois.

Her new salary is right on par with that earned by other Vice Presidents at the hospital, too, and actually falls towards the lower end of the spectrum. “She is worth her weight in gold, and she is just terrific,” Riordan said.

Shockingly, the video failed to note these facts.

  • Nita

    Chapter 2

The Video’s Claim: Sen. Obama says he wants to make healthcare more affordable, but “he didn’t tell us that his wife is one of 13 vice presidents at a not-for-profit hospital that in 2005 reported earnings of over $100 million — in part by charging uninsured minorities three and a half times as much as whites with insurance for the exact same care!”

The Truth: People without medical insurance are charged more than people with insurance in virtually every hospital in the country. Because of negotiations in the 1980s that kept prices lower for people with HMO plans or Medicare, hospitals raised their charges for many normal procedures in the 1990s, a reality that resulted in higher costs for PPOs and the uninsured.

According to the Council for Affordable Health Insurance, the state with the highest cost-to-charge ratio (which reflects how much more people without insurance are charged than people with insurance) is Nevada, which charges…wait for it…three and a half times more. Following Nevada is California, Alabama, Florida and Arizona. Illinois

    doesn’t make the top five.

Without question, rising healthcare costs for the uninsured is a major problem. Blaming Michelle Obama for a flawed system that is in effect in every hospital in the country just

because she works at a hospital, however — not to mention insinuating that such a disparity is based on racial prejudice — is as irresponsible as it is absurd.

  • Nita

    Chapter 3

The Video’s Claim: After encouraging college students to pursue public service over “the big house and the large salary,” Sen. Obama was the subject of an “embarrassing investigation into the purchase of his stately $1.65 million mansion” and now regrets purchasing land from indicted political fundraiser Tony Rezko.

The Truth: Sen. Obama bought his home on Chicago’s South Side at a price on par for

the neighborhood, using advance money from his bestselling book. Seven months later, he purchased an adjacent sliver of land from the wife of Tony Rezko, who had bought the bordering land on the same day Sen. Obama closed on his home (the seller required the sales be closed on the same day, as the New Republic points out). Tony Rezko is a well-connected Chicago fundraiser who is currently involved in two unrelated criminal cases.

Contrary to the video’s claim, there was no investigation into the purchase. The Washington Post reported that “There have been no allegations that Obama…broke the law or committed any ethics violations.” Still, Sen. Obama said he regretted the purchase, which he called “boneheaded,” because of how it could be perceived.

As the New Republic notes, “No one is seriously accusing Obama of any wrongdoing” in this situation. In addition, Sen. Obama has since that time opposed gambling interests that Rezko supports, and has donated $11,500 in campaign contributions from Rezko to charity.

  • Nita

    Chapter 4

The Video’s Claim: Though Sen. Obama has spoken about worker’s rights to groups critical of Wal-Mart, he didn’t mention that the CEO of TreeHouse Foods received $26 million in compensation in 2005, while Wal-Mart’s CEO received $10.5 million, despite the fact that TreeHouse is a much smaller company — “maybe because he’s embarrassed his wife sits on the Board of Directors of TreeHouse Foods, a company that shut a plant in 2006 that was staffed primarily with low-paid Hispanics!”

The Truth: Michelle Obama joined the Board of Directors of TreeHouse Foods in June 2005, shortly after the company was spun off its parent company, Dean Foods. TreeHouse CEO Sam Reed was reportedly paid $26.2 million in 2005, much of which was in the form of stock options stemming from the company’s spin-off and contingent on the company’s level of performance, according to Crain’s Business. In other words, the company must do well for Reed to receive that money.

TreeHouse has an Executive Compensation Committee to determine the salaries of its executives. Michelle Obama does not sit on this committee. When asked, she pointed out that Reed’s compensation is “benchmarked to that of other food firms.” She also noted to a reporter that her income “is pretty low compared to my peers,” adding, “You wouldn’t ask that question if, like some people in politics, we had trust funds and were

    rich.”

As for the claim about the plant that was shut down in 2006, it’s true. It was a pickle plant in La Junta, Colorado, and employed 153 people. It was not closed by TreeHouse directly, however, but by Bay Valley Foods, a division of the larger TreeHouse company. The video’s attempt to link Michelle Obama to the plant’s closure — and to once again inject racial overtones into its specious claim — is like saying the Secretary of Agriculture should be held responsible for the unfortunate closing of a military base in Maine.

A press release from Bay Valley Foods regretfully attributes the closure to “a reduction in our pickle business and a significant increase in overhead costs, making it necessary to consolidate our manufacturing network. The La Junta facility is a high-cost plant with the lowest utilization among Bay Valley Foods’ pickle plants. Production at La Junta will be reallocated among our five remaining pickle production facilities.”

The video is not the only deceitful aspect of ObamaTruth.org. Among the links on the site is one to the discredited Dick Morris column on Sen. Obama’s voting record, which we debunked in detail here.

In addition, RunObama discusses the deeply sketchy record of the political hit man believed to be behind the website. And Vermonters for Obama offers a great analysis that puts the Obama’s finances in perspective.

  • Nita

great, i guess i must be banned again

  • Nita

or maybe not. anyway, over at DU posters Tinoire, drm604 and Judy Lynn exposed the site for what it really is. The following 2004 presidential campaign ad transcript — yes, it’s real — is from those same people trying to peddle Lies about Obama. They are plants, and they want to fool you:

Check out the following transcript of a new Republican ad targeting black voters in 10 battleground states this year and you be the judge:

BLACK MAN #1: “If you make a little mistake with one of your ‘hos,’ you’ll want to dispose of that problem tout suite, no questions asked.”

BLACK MAN #2: “That’s too cold. I don’t snuff my own seed.”

BLACK MAN #1: “Maybe you do have a reason to vote Republican.”

  • Nita

This ad was financed by J. Patrick Rooney, a white billionaire notorious for funding several misleading anti-Kerry ads that ran on urban radio stations in 2004. The money for Rooney’s ad above flowed through a little-known group called America’s PAC, which was founded by Richard Nadler, a veteran Republican consultant who pushed Intelligent Design in Kansas public schools, declaring, “Darwin is bunk.”

Rooney is the former chairman of Golden Rule Insurance Co. and recently founded Medical Savings Insurance Co. which specializes in the health savings accounts created out of the President’s 2003 prescription drug plan, according to the Washington Post , which first reported on Rooney’s backing for People of Color United. He has provided approximately half the funding for the group which is running misleading ads on African American radio stations.

Golden Rule Insurance has lavished campaign funds on Gingrich and the GOP in order to promote its medical savings account scheme–and destroy Medicare.

And not to bring religion into this but the Catholic hospitals provide care for many low-income people who can’t get care anywhere else. Guess who’s trying to close them and has been leading the smear charge that they overcharge patients? Radio and television ads, paid for by Indiana-based non-profit Fairness Foundation, chastise Catholic hospitals, alleging they’re falling short on meeting the obligations required to maintain their tax-exempt status. The group is backed by J. Patrick Rooney, who a few years ago sold his Golden Rule Insurance Co. to UnitedHealth Group. Rooney, a long-time supporter of health savings accounts, operates a private health insurance company that has battled with hospitals over their billing practices.

No. 02-1315, Locke, Governor of Washington, et al. v. Davey Argued December 2, 2003: “Briefs of amici curiae urging affirmance were filed … for the Fairness Foundation by Kenneth W. Starr” According to Tinoire, “It’s an establishment clause case (church state separation). It’s easy to guess which side the Fairness Foundation was most likely on.”

Why is any of this important? The Fairness Foundation is the registrant of the domain REPUBLICANLEADERSHIP which belongs to a K Street organization called the “Republican Leadership Coalition” which may be responsible for another series of ads that claim that it’s been proven that WMDs did exist and were moved out of Iraq and into Syria.

ObamaTruth, FairnessFoundation and another site called HospitalVictims can all be traced to the same servers, same IP address 72.32.184.97. They are not about the truth, they are about lies. They think we’re stupid. Are we?

    @ Rosie

I just fell out my chair at the visual you painted of RP supporters. Aluminum foil wrapped around their head…I can’t take it.

    @ Nita

No apologies necessary. We are keeping eachother informed in ways we never have before. There was time when folks were so blinded and taken for granted that to even question a Clinton was blasphemy. When Ron Brown was killed, folks would even whisper when talking about the possibilities of Clinton involvement like the Clinton had us bugged or something. That type of dominance and control is stuff dictators are made of. You darn right this is real. Real. I really hate feeling worried and pray everyday and keep positive thoughts.

The thought that some folks (ie. the Clintons) can’t even simply appreciate what Obama is achieving angers saddens and baffles me. You don’t have to like him to appreciate him. You can be his competitor and appreciate him. Follow me?

Please preach on. I’m still pinching myself that people are even talking at this level. There was a time when people were justifiably scared to speak some of things we saying on this board.

Back in the day speaking against a Clinton would get you excommunicated from the black community.

And the Clinton BS calling Obama a plagerist. Well, Ms. Bill, where’s our ancestors royalty for “I ain’t no ways tired”?

For the record, i’m not saying this because it’s about Barack Obama. This just happens to be where i got sick of seeing the BS from Heather. Marcia Brady was on my nerves before i clicked here. Frankly, i supported Dennis Kucinich until he dropped out. I’m now supporting Obama mainly because i know the Clintons can’t be trusted anymore.

@ ME are you retared or just ignorant

  • huhwhat

i’ll say this much – i live in Brooklyn, and have voted here for the past 2 Presidential elections. I get to the polls for the primary and what a surprise, they can’t find me in their records. I had to fill out a paper ballot. As I was about to go OFF, the election worker told me “oh this happened to a lot of people today”. Hmmm…

I’m really trying to stay positive but I just can’t stand Billary. I am disgusted at the how they have stooped. We do not need another president the people resent and are forced to tolerate. She’s turned people off so bad that she’s just not even an option. “Change you can xerox” ?! This woman has lost her mind. A cheating man can do that to a woman. I don’t want their dysfunction running this country.

@ lovely and amazing, what do you think about Tina ‘why do people find me funny just because I’m working the Lisa Loeb look?’ Fey and NBC announcing their support of Clinton last night during Saturday Night Live?

    @ ThatBKChick

Unfortunately our elders don’t help build or fund community building, educating, organizing. Our elders in 2008!!! have dismissed a black community organizer and Senator to back corrupt self-serving Billary.

Darn right we have to rethink our “leaders”.

I called Maxine Waters office and let her know I was ashamed of her and that she diminished my faith in her blah blah blah about caring for the upliftment of black youth.

Here a brother has risen to the occaision of viable, dignified, and qualified candidate for PRESIDENT and she gave him, his black wife, and two black children her hand to talk to.

Of course she hasn’t returned your calls.

Keep keeping on and all the best with your tremendous community efforts and work.
