Comedian and Wife Malaak Compton-Rock In Messy Divorce

Chris Rock has blown off the chance to challenge his wife’s demand that he pay child support not only for their two kids, but for the little girl she may have shadily adopted, BOSSIP can reveal.

A judge last month gave Rock, 50, until Nov. 30 to respond to estranged wife Malaak’s counterclaim that includes, among other things, that he pay child support for Ntombi, the little girl Malaak is raising, as well as their two daughters.

Ntombi “has resided with the parties since before her first birthday,” Malaak wrote in documents obtained by BOSSIP. Ntombi “has been raised by the parties as a member of the family and has been solely supported by the parties. Defendant (Malaak) has been and continues to be (Ntombi’s) primary caregiver.”

But records from Bergen County Superior Court in New Jersey show Rock never responded to Malaak’s counterclaim. That means that a judge could order the veteran funny man to pay what Malaak asked for – which includes child support for the three kids, alimony and for Rock to pay her legal fees.

Authorities are reportedly investigating how the Rock family came to “adopt” Ntombi.

Rock filed for divorce nearly a year ago, after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Malaak fired back with a counterclaim, asking that their property and other assets be split down the middle.

We’ve reached out to Rock’s lawyer, Robert Cohen, for comment.
