MJ’s shady @ss doctor just quit his private practice yesterday. Interesting timing. Sounds like he’s been practicing unethical medicine for quite some time. Wonder how many other patients have “bought” their way to unhealthy doses of pharmeceutical drugs?

We just got a letter that Michael Jackson’s doctor sent to his patients 11 days ago, announcing that he will be indefinitely leaving his medical practice.

Dr. Conrad Murray sent the note on his letterhead from his medical practice in Las Vegas. He says, “I am deeply saddened to leave you at this point, but please know my absence is not permanent.” He continues, “In my absence, I will continue to manage the practice, and be involved as much as possible but from a distance.”

Why does he have to be a black man? Damn.

  • Big Roy

Real shady… looking more and more suspect

  • Kami All Day

    @Big Roy:

Do you think, if found guilty of foul play, would justice be served and this doctor sent to jail?

And do you think that all other people who may have had their hand in this, be brought to the forefront?

I’m anxious to see this. Because from day one, I felt that his death was too premature. No matter if a person may have asked for a particular drug, when do ethics come into play, and you put a human beings life over money and profit?

  • Angee

Was this doctor negligent? probably. Did he do something intentional or pre-meditated??????

I’m sorry, I have this thing called a conscience (consciousness of one’s moral right and wrong).

So…..taking money to help kill someone is more like a hitman to me.

He might as well change his profession, then.

Just because someone graduated from medical school doesnt make them out to be a competent practicing physician. This doctor didnt have the common sense to perform CPR on a hard surface!

  • Glok9n: Lev 20:13

DOC!….HE WAS SENT TO KILL MIKE, NOT GIVE CPR ,..HE GETTING HIS PAPER AND MOVIN ON …HE DONT GIVE FUK, HE GOT HIGHER ORDERS!

  • Kami All Day

I wonder if this doctor used a drug called Narcon on Mike?

This drug is a opiate antagonist that prevents or reverses the effects of opioids including respiratory depression.

This would have reversed some of the effects of a demerol overdose.

Not saying that MJ would still be alive, but I just wondered if he might have used this.

  • Glok9n: Lev 20:13

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE HARSH REALITY DONT THINK ALL YOUR ALL FAV BLK CELEBS ARE JUST DYING THEY HAVE A BIGGER AGENDA AND DONT NEED THESE CELEBS MAKING COMEBACKS THEY HAVE THEIR AGENTS IN PLAY ALREADY…IF THEY DONT FOLLOW ORDERS OR MAKES SACRIFICES THAT LEAD TO DEATH …YOU END UP DEAD BY NATURAL CAUSES…DOC HAZ JUST BEEN INDUCTED!

  • Kami All Day

    @Glok:

I’m starting to think the same thing you are.

Why would he leave a practice that is making him rich, unless this “opportunity” was a WAY bigger financial gain for him and his cronies?

  • Glok9n: Lev 20:13

    KAMI ALL DAY, HEY !
I LOVED TO EXPLAIN ..IT IS A BIGGER GAIN FOR HIM ,.. ITZ A BIGGER PICTURE TOO…. HE WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN AS THE MAN THAT KILLED MJ AND GOT OFF , HE’LL WRITES BOOKS AND MAKE APPEARENCES AND PROFIT !!!

why did this Doctor leave before the police came? He and this other guy in the room called 911, but when police arrived he was no where to be found.

  • Truth be told

Another glimpse into the atrocities that are perpetrated against the general public by shady medical professionals and shady pharmaceutical companies. Michael Jackson was a public figure but thousands of average people suffer everyday because these mofo’s are cutting corners and lining their pockets. SMH, this is truly sad.

We need to get back to the natural/herbal remedies that served our ancestors for centuries. Nature holds the cure to most if not all illnesses.

That is the question of the day!

If Michael was insistent on receiving this “demerol” drug (or what other drugs were present)then why would the Dr. leave?

It’s easy to say what someone wanted if they are dead.

  • Sydney™ (R.I.P. Michael)

    From the LA Times:

Michael Jackson’s personal doctor, who was interviewed Saturday by police detectives over the circumstances surrounding the pop star’s death, is owed $300,000 from the concert promoter planning Jackson’s comeback concerts, his attorney said today.

Dr. Conrad Murray had been selected by Jackson to be his physician for the tour, but entertainment giant AEG was paying his bills. Murray was at Jackson’s Holmby Hills home when he was stricken Thursday and tried to revive him.

Coroner’s officials said Jackson had been using prescription drugs, and the investigation is focused on whether he overdosed. A law enforcement source told The Times there was “no red flag” and “no smoking gun” revealed in the interview to suggest criminal wrongdoing or the possible cause of death.

Matt Alford, Murray’s attorney, told MSNBC this morning that Murray is a witness — not a suspect — in the case. He said Murray planned to go with Jackson on the tour. And since AEG was paying his bills, the company owes him $300,000 in back pay.

  • Sydney™ (R.I.P. Michael)

This doctor was the last to see Michael alive, and now he wants to make sure he gets paid.

I’m going to try to hold my tongue on this, but this whole situation has a stench to it.

Sigh! Look, I realize that most of you are still reeling from M.J.’s sudden passing, but don’t allow your emotions to circumvent your objectivity (and most importantly), your common sense! – Now you know, and I know that M.J. has been dealing with drug addiction for years, which also contributed to his “ECCENTRIC” & “DESTRUCTIVE” behavior. I reiterate, when it all comes out in the wash, his death will be attributed to a combination of “DRUG ADDICTION, ENABLERS & QUESTIONABLE MEDICAL ETHICS” – No conspiracy or some insidious Masonic plot…In closing – DEATH BY WAY OF DRUG OVERDOSE AND ROCK N’ ROLL ALWAYS HAD A SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP – GET A GRIP!

  • Iyan

How long was he MJ’s doctor? I’m in no way trying to defend the doctor, I’m just asking. What if he decided to move in with MJ 11 days ago?

  • Iyan

Is it possible that he may not even have had all of MJ’s medical history? Can it be possible that he was paid not to know MJ’s medical history? Could it be possible he was paid on a NOT NEED TO KNOW BASIS? So, was he paid to be unethical in a medical situation? Was the poor doctor gaslighted?

  • Sydney™

    @Marquis

“I reiterate, when it all comes out in the wash, his death will be attributed to a combination of “DRUG ADDICTION, ENABLERS & QUESTIONABLE MEDICAL ETHICS””

I do agree with you — I’ve read/seen enough from reputable sources in the past few days to understand that MJ had an addiction to painkillers for years (I believe he started taking painkillers after he was burned in the 80′s during the filming of the Pepsi commercial), to the point that his relatives were concerned about his health. There’s also speculation that he may have had an eating disorder as well. One thing I’m more than fairly certain of is that he was a brilliant musical genius, but he was also a tortured soul, and I wonder if he was ever truly happy. He was in a lot of pain for a very long time, starting with his father’s alleged abuse, and I personally think the last trial took part of him irretrievably away. I don’t think he ever truly recovered, and he reportedly expressed his loneliness to others on many occasions.

But I still feel, as you pointed out, that as much damage as MJ did to his own body, I feel that other parties may also be at fault. Something’s very wrong, for example, with the background of this doctor who was the last to see him alive. TMZ is reporting that the Jackson family is also suspicious of Murray. I’m waiting for more facts to be divulged, but I definitely feel there is more to this story.

  • Kami All Day

Yo, I had MAD other stuff to tell ya’ll. But they WILL NOT let me post it.

I am CONVINCED that they have a way to see what we post prior to submission.

  • Z (Memory is Bliss)

MJ certainly left his mark on the world and I have memories of his music from the time I was very young. I was born after the whole Thriller years but just from what I have seen he was on top of the world for almost three or four decades. Such a lifestyle took a toll on his well-being and now he should be mourned with the opportunity to rest peacefully!

  • huhsaywhat?

How does 11 days ago = yesterday?

    SMH

  • Iyan

    @ Marquis de Sade
MJ’s “ECCENTRIC & DESTRUCTIVE” behavior started long before his drug abuse problem. Yes, I am one still “reeling” from his death, and yet I do still have my common sense. However, I am done being sad and depressed. I will be angry and lash out and fight back to whom and whatever upset me. As I wish MJ would have done, instead of taking it out on HIMSELF! I’m mad at MJ and every last one of his “ENABLERS/UNETHICAL DOCTORS/STUPID PHARMACISTS”.

  • Kami All Day

    @bianca:

There should be no information that is unbeknownst to a Dr. as the doctor should have been thorough in researching the patients past medical history.

Therefore, knowing what drugs to administer (or not).

Though patients to have a tendency to lie, running tests are always a good preventative measure.

But for the most part, you are right. I want to ask this Dr. about Narcon and if this was a certain drug that could have still been administered to Michael (in his condition) without causing further harm?

  • Oshie Presents the King

FYI, Diana Ross issued a statement a few days — Larry King read it on his show, along with other statements from celebrities. He interviewed Usher, Quincy Jones, and Berry Gordy, who all appeared badly shaken by MJ’s passing. Elizabeth Taylor at first was too shaken to give a statement, and Madonna said she couldn’t stop crying:

“I can’t stop crying, this is too sudden and shocking,” Ross says in a statement. “I am unable to imagine this. My heart is hurting. I am in prayer for his kids and the family.”

  • Kami All Day

    @Marquis De Sade:

Okay, touche. Maybe I should have re-vamped that statement to “some” white people. Giving way for the exceptions, not the majority.

Thanks for your “sympathy”, but none needed. While my heart goes out to his family, I dont cry over celebrities passings. Nor feel the same hurt if it were my own family member.
    My empathy is enough.

  • Hanover Fist

This doesn’t seem shady in the least. Actually it seems like the action of a responsible doctor letting his patients know that he is taking an extended leave of absence from his practice.

Come on…he was offered the job of being Michael Jackson’s personal physician. Why wouldn’t he take the job?

Remember that MJ has had drug problems for decades now…maybe he just OD’d…You know that happens to junkies.

Either way this doctor needs to be questioned; every medical professional knows that you DO NOT give CPR on a bed!!! you need to have the person on a flat hard surface, that’s why you use a board or the floor. Furthermore, if he was prescribing those drugs to MJ; he violated his oath ‘…do no harm..’ etc. Ethics, competence or a lack thereof are definitely in question. The answers will soon come.

~R.I.P. Michael Jackson; Forever The King of Pop~ Your spirit and music will forever live on within our hearts and minds. Thank you for blessing us with your gift.

Why is everyone mad @ the doctor, he is only doing what his patient expected. I don’t believe this man intentionally did this to michael. Why is not anyone saying anything about michael and his drug use from the doctor? Even with all of the talent michael had, he still was mixed up! Wanting to be white, always wanting young white boys hanging around him, and his family knows how he was and knew eventually these things would come to haunt him. Those are not his real kids! They have not an ounce of michael’s blood in them. They look 100 percent WHITE and not biracial. I know their mother’s are coming to claim them. They probably are adopted and michael didn’t want anyone saying anything about him adopting them because they are pure white! So now the truth of most things about his weird life will come to surface. Sorry but it is what it is! The other weird things is what he took to his grave with him!!! R.I.P. Michael!

This is the legacy and the impact that he left upon the world…for prisoners : Murders, thieves and people locked up to come together and do this tribute to the man who obviously touched their lives…..is speechless…this made me cry…I am truly touched by this and probably thousands and millions or people who are doing things to “remember the times” they first met or fell in love with the man and his music..Getting ready to go the the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco out here in the Bay…that’s most likely going to be filled with tearful drama of several artist who will be doing their own MJ Tributes, etc.

Good grief. Times like this i ask myself, why i am in medical school. Cause when situation normal gets all f’d up, everyone looks at YOU. The m.d., and wonders why you couldn’t change the outcome. Why you could not dig into your bag of tricks, and make everything all right. Of course there is no discussion about chronic conditions the person could of have,…..no…no….a person’s entire life existence come down to one episode, one moment in time, …and if you the m.d are in involved in ANY WAY in that equation, may god have mercy on your soul, cause 9 out of 10 people are gonna say, ‘you killed the patient’. Now, i don’t know this doc from adam, but what i do know is that i am going to reserve judgement…till all the evidence comes out. If indeed, it was an overdose, then the lab results will show that. Bloody hell…, days like this i wish i went to singing school instead of medicine, and be the next beyonce……..

Michael you need not worry there are no tabloid in heaven no pappirazzi or press just love from our Almighty god the father thanks for the music and the entertainment and if you made one childs life brighter your work was not in vain! R.I.P

his once in a lifetime opportunity was going on tour with michael. Michael insisted to the concert promoters that the doc be part of the team, because he trusted him. So that’s why he sent that letter out prevously cuz he was going on tour with Michael.

  • Smoovee Sayz

OMG…we all know by now MJ had a damn problem with drugs…how can some of you sit up here and blame a drug addict especially when he didnt write out those damn prescriptions himself. You think its something in the doctors handbook that says a physician can issue out multiple drugs because the patient requested??? O hells no. Not even close…
Mike got what he wanted because he was fortunate enough to fit the bill and was easily taken advantage of.
If a patient claims they need medication for whatever a REAL doctor would evaluate him/her and determine from there whether or not they should be medicated…if its really bad Im sure the patient would be admitted somewhere. If it was ok for doctors to just hand over their prescription pad and let the patient go all out you would see way more vicodin and percocet pill poppin parties all over the place.
This whole situation is a bunch of bullshit.

  • Whatchaknoboutdat?

I think that the Doc did not murder MJ it just that his frail lil body was tired and worn out from years of malnutrition and other various self inflicted damage. His mind and body was racked with pain and MJ needed medication/drugs to help stop some of the pain that he was in. On of the last times that I saw him on t.v. (about a week ago) I said (out loud) that “Michael isn’t looking good…” and low and behold the next week he’s dead. I am praying for him and his family and everyone involved….

MJ can now rest in peace.

Are we that blood thirsty that we completely confuse what is obvious and pass them off as suspect.

The guy has different branches of his practice around the world. If he was going to be Mike Jacksons private physician for his up coming tour, of course he is going to step away from his practice; He can’t run it while he is on Tour (dumb asses).

Of course they are going to pay this guy a hefty sum of money to be the private physician on the tour, you just asked him to put his entire practice on hold. My God you people are losing it.

  • Patsy

Because he’s a black doctor it hurts to the bone

To all misinformed out there, please read what was said before we plan the doctor’s funeral.

“We just got a letter that Michael Jackson’s doctor sent to his patients 11 days ago, announcing that he will be indefinitely leaving his medical practice”

11 DAYS AGO!!! Now how was he to remain committed to his practice when he just landed a prestigious job as MJ’s personal doctor?. Ethically and professionally, he did exactly what he should have done, – leave someone else in charge while he pursues his newly found freedom from the public. He also said it is -NOT PERMANENT- It’s all still tolerable so far; after all why will he quit his job to kill MJ?
Oh! by the way, it don’t matter if this doc is Black or White – cut off that race crap now. Let us see where all this is going; but if this doc is guilty of any wrong doing; as a frustrated but thoroughly angry black man, it is my considered opinion that we (black and white) poke him severely in the skull and dry him upside down from the tallest tree in town.
