Every female dressed for the awards appropriately but tyra…. somebody should have told her that just because CitiTrends was a sponsor, didnt mean she had to go and get her presenting awards outfit from there. What was Tyra thinking? jeans, that silk blouse w/bow and a clearance rack sweater vest, probably the shoes to. whoooaaaaah. I know tyra says shes cheap but dammn tyra. I know we are in a recession but I can guarantee that there is not one black female in america who would have worn that outfit on a national tv black awards show and presented an award. Tyra next time at least try t.j.maxx, marshalls or ross(their slogan dress for less). Better yet, you could have even gotten something from your friend kimora’s closet or store. Please dont ever do this again.

Tyra looked so nice and cl*****y. I think she looked appropriate for her age and stature. After all, she is not a singer/rapper, she is a talk show host among other things. Kudos to Tyra!

oh but that opening number with New Edition was just sloppy and unfortunate! Somebody at BET must hate MJ to allow that hot mess of a performance as a opening number.

Jamie was cool though! And I would like to think that he was able to MJ’s dad some light moments in an otherwise dismal reality.

Bossip, you are full of s#*t! How on earth can you cl*****ify Tyra as being “Thick”, what is wrong with your perception of what a woman should look like? It is because of media like yourselves, that see’s our young ones trying to lose weight, throwing up and making themselves sick to look “thin”. Please start to re-dress this imbalance and teach our young ones to loves themselves no matter what. A blog like this has the platform to make a change, stop being a disease and start becoming a cure.

Sorry Bossip, but Tyra was the best dress woman of the night. What everybody else had on was either too little like TI’s girlfriend who kept pulling up her dress, or needed much better foundation, Tarajah’s low *****, Queen Latifiah..OMG what was that crap?
