While I am a huge fan of Bey, and let me state her performance was wonderful however, her attire was a disgrace to the song. Down right deplorable. Someone should have told her that the song she sang was normally performed in the roman catholic church (let me add – it was sung in Latin). Maybe a little research should be done prior to singing her songs so that she is properly dressed for it

Beyonce could have easily put on an evening gown and sang Halo. But she didnt want to b/c she already did that live on a different show. She wanted to introduce another song from her cd and show off her newly learned vocal skills (btw she mutilated this song if you have ever heard it sung properly you would know this). Anyway as usual it was all about Beyonce. Look at me look at me arent i pretty cant i sing. She is an opportunist.

Who sings a song summoning Jesus Christ mother, Mary, for help looking like a stripper dressed up as the tooth fairy. I was appalled. Im glad she did not sing one of MJ song with her self centered attitude disrepectful attitude. Not to mention she insulted the whole family not too long ago. Beyonce needs to learn some humility and respect for others.

Her fans as usual eat this crap up and dont realize how she contributed along with Jaime, Lil Wayne, Drake, T-pain, Taraji, Toya & Tiny, and the rest set us back 30 yrs. Years of campaigning bye Obama gone down the drain in less than 4 hours.

I DID NOT THINK THE OUTFIT WAS RIGHT FOR THE SONG AS A TRIBUTE TO MJ. SECONDLY DIFFERENT DO NOT MEAN BAD. I ENJOY THE SONG AND AS FAR A TRIBUTE GOES PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT AND NO ONE PREDICTED MJ DEATH AND THEY DID A WONDERFUL ON THE TIME CRUNCH.

This forum is complete comedy. At the end of the day whether you enjoyed Beyonce’s performance or not, you are still commenting a subject about her. Whether you show hate or love, all of the chatter still promotes her career. I hope your stupidity doesn’t rub off on others with who may have minds as weak & underexposed as yours. And I hate to say this but the Catholics posting their negative comments should be more concerned about their priests malesting young boys & the many, many, many scandels they try to cover up in the church rather than trying to bash Beyonce for “her version” of Ave Maria & the Ballerina Wedding Gown designed by Thierry Mugler. As far as the other hate is concerned, it’s not expected for everyone to “get it” when an artist enlightens them to areas of music they would not normally listen to. Beyonce has proven time & time again that she’s not afraid to take risks & she’s an intelligent, driven & successful woman. At the end of the day, her performance was for MJ. Beyonce has expressed numerous times she idolized Michael & I’m sure if he were still alive to have seen it, he would have a much different impression than the one echoed by the sentiments of these highly acclaimed critics posting on this forum. LMAO – the more you post (hate or love) all you do is promote the Queen Bey. So in light of that…thanks for the continued support. Go Beyonce! You Rock!

First, I love that song she was singing but I didn’t even know what she was singing. Its not originally in English, that’s one reason why she shouldn’t have been singing it. Second, is everyone forgetting about the SHOULDER PADS!!! from the jacket?
