Bill Cosby Could Be Close To Settling Lawsuit With Playboy Mansion Accuser Chloe Goins

It goes without saying that life is not good for Bill Cosby these days. Yesterday, “America’s Favorite Dad” was arrested and arraigned for the drugging and sexual assault of a Pennsylvania woman.

Today, TMZ is reporting that Cosby is in the process of settling another lawsuit with a woman who alleges that she was drugged and sexually assaulted at the Playboy mansion back in 2008.

Chloe Goins filed her suit on October 6, 2015, but thus far there has been no action in the case. The law requires that Cosby be served 90 days from filing or risk the case being dropped. The lack of service suggests that Mr. Pudding Pop is ready to just cut a check and avoid dealing with a lawsuit while simultaneously fighting criminal charges.

Word is that the L.A. district attorney is considering charging The Cos’, but if Chloe were to settle and take the check, then the likelihood of criminal charges sticking is little to none.
