Michael Jackson never adopted his three children, even though he’s not the biological father. Jackson never filed legal papers to adopt any of his children. Legal experts tell us Jackson would be presumed the father but it’s not conclusive by any means.
As for why Jackson didn’t formally adopt — we’re told at the time the kids were born there was no third party whom he believed would try and claim custody. For some reason, Jackson never thought Debbie Rowe would mount a custody challenge.

Regardless,those children only knew him as their father and he took care of them.You don’t have to biologically have children to be a mother or father,you only need the nurturing spirit and obviously he provided that to them.

I agree with you 100%. I’m sure we all have seen bad parenting before. I mean really bad. Despite the isolation, and the weird upbringing, all I’m saying is I’m sure those kids were happy as hell. Was he a perfect parent? Is anyone?

I have a friend whose childhood was dramatically impacted by unkind comments about her skin tone…to the point of wanting to marry a white man, so her children would not have the same experience. Just my opinion, but Mike did what alot of black people are intentionally doing now. Some will even bluntly tell you. Some black people have become so insecure with their outside appearance that they will intentionally have mixed children to ensure that their children won’t entirely look like them. Especially when it comes to the two biggest subjects in the black community: skintone and “good hair.” Mike just had money,power, and access to be able to take it a little further by changing his physical features entirely and having/adopting white kids. Not only that,but what he did is,for some reason,is acceptable!! He became rich off of this and his children’s looks were never questioned. But because black folks don’t like to confront the issue of body image/self-esteem in our community(because we’re “strong” etc…),many of us would rather believe that Michael was mixed with Caucasian and his kids,by the mystery of DNA,got all his white genes. Especially older black folks,you can’t tell them nothing!!! They also believe Michael had vitiligo,all of a sudden had super straight hair,and never had nose surgery! The truth is,this man had many deep issues stemming from home and his childhood. Who knows what his father and mother(not ruling her out) said to him and the other kids because Letoya apparently has skin,nose, and hair issues too. All the other boys love to keep their hair all curly and permed up too. I know they really have nowhere to go,but I wouldn’t trust the kids with Mr. or Ms. Jackson.
I’m pretty sure if black folks had the money and access,many of them would get some of the same cosmetic procedures Mike had. I guess theres a such thing as being ‘too’ famous in the entertainment industry. You have so many yes-men and enablers and people telling you how wonderful you are–until you lose your sense of reality.

It’s so wierd that people feel “sorry” for the kids because “they don’t know who their biological parents are. Have ya ever thought about that its more like WE dont know and are so nosy to know. Sorry guys I disagree. That little girl looks just like Debbie and I think the boy favors Michael. People are doubting they’re hi kids because of skin, eye, and hair color… Hmmm lets look at this… joe jackson has colored eyes, mike’s mother has a very pointed nose, not to mention the kids mother is white! not hispanic ( which would give the kids more color) Has any one ever seen mike’s grandparents? I know plenty of people who have light colored eyed babies and both parents are dark or brown ( not mixed children) and the child takes after a grandparent. you don’t have to LOOK like the genes that you carry.
