Singer Sells Manse As He Prepares To Walk Down The Aisle
Ne-Yo has sold off his Georgia mansion just one year after he bought it and did some major home improvements – and the singer only racked in a $5,000 profit from the sale!
Ne-Yo purchased a five-bedroom, three-bathroom house in October 2014 that sits on two acres of farmland outside of Alpharetta, Ga. for $520,000.
The luxury home – located in the countryside – boasts a cross-fenced pasture for horses and hobby farm. However, it appears the singer wasn’t too much of a farmer because he listed the home nearly a year later in September of this year for $550,000.
Interesting to note, based on the new listing pictures it looks like the singer, real name Shaffer Smith, remodeled the home and even added an extra bedroom along with refurnishing the pad.
Then on December 28th, Ne-Yo transferred the deed to the property to the buyer who purchased it for much less than the asking price – $525,000 – meaning the singer only made a $5,000 profit on the sale.
The singer might be searching for a new spot to lay his head as he prepares to marry his pregnant girlfriend Crystal Renay next month.
