Tameka Foster: “Usher and I Got it in Just a Week Before He filed for Divorce

Wow, this chick just won’t stop. Tameka is still holding onto the fact that she had no idea her marriage was falling apart even though the two of them had been living separately for over a year.
Tameka Raymond says she didn’t see it coming.
Usher’s soon to be ex-wife states in a new court filing that she and the R&B star have not been separated since July 2008 and, in fact, were “intimately together” less than a week before he started divorce proceedings.
She had “every reason to believe her marriage was intact,” her attorney stated in documents filed Monday in Atlanta.
But since it wasn’t, Tameka now wants to make sure that her estranged husband takes care of all of her legal fees pertaining to the split and continues to support his family financially, per the filing.
Usher filed for divorce June 12, checking off “irretrievably broken” as his reason to end the marriage and requesting joint custody of the couple’s two sons.
The duo swapped vows in a private civil ceremony in August 2007 and brought family and friends into the mix with a more elaborate set of “I do’s” the following month.
Usher’s divorce petition states that they were on the rocks less than a year later.
Just because he hits it every now and then doesn’t mean the man is in love. Come on Tameka, you have to be smarter than that. SMH

Wow, I don’t understand why people are so hung up on Chilli. They broke up years before him and Tomeka got together. It is obvious that Usher does not want to be with her. Get over it. I’m not even mad at Tameka. Usher knew the amount of love (or lust)he had when he jumped in that relationship. He not only made lust legal, but he also brought two kids into an already rocky start. I can’t feel sorry for his *****. I feel sorry for the kids. But this is an expensive, yet well taught lesson about not letting the little head out think the big head.

She must have known when she was pregnant – no wonder she risked her life after the 2nd baby to get plastic surgery, there is nothing worse. I don’t think it has anything to do with lightskinned versus darkskinned. Usher and Chili broke up a long time ago. It happens. The problem is Tameka messing around with Usher while she was married. Why can’t it be that he was just unhappy with his marriage? Plenty of people divorce daily – it is a part of life. If Tameka is as strong as she claims she will understand that – as long as he provides for his children there shouldn’t be a problem.

Yeah, I slept like 6 hours last night in total, and she woke me once, so I changed her and fed her. Normally I try to wake her every 2-3hrs but I’ve just been so tired. I need to start sleeping when she sleeps during the day. OMGoodness girl, I guess that’s on of the sacrifices for having kids… I wasn’t sleeping well even before I had her. I wouldn’t trade it for anything though. My friend’s baby had colic and my friend just about went crazy. After a few weeks she became really depressed and her mom had to move in with them to help out. It’s no joke. I commend any mother that has a baby with colic. She sleeps in our room, in a b*****inet right next to me. I’m not ready for her to sleep alone yet. How many months do you think I should wait before putting her in her room?

@ MarriedMommy… I think the restlessness in the last weeks is a natural way of getting you ready for the sleepless nights ahead. Like I said to you yesterday, you need a nanny/family member to relieve you from time to time. Yep, a colic baby is no joke. I remember the one night he cried for 8 hours straight. I had fed him, bathed him, burped him. I had tried every trick in the book and he wouldn’t stop. I got so upset I picked him up, shook him and yelled ‘What the hell do you want from me’. Luckily, my mom was in the other room and she got out of bed. I literaly threw him in her arms and slammed the door in her face. I didn’t want to see him. But after I had rested and was calmer I went to get him and apologised. I was scared I reacted that way. In our tradition when you have your first child you move back in with your mother until the baby is 3 months old. So atleast she was there because hubby was too scared to even pick him up. It’s only now that he’s bigger that he baths him and does stuff with him. They look so cute together because they hang out like buddies. I try not to interfere, it’s good that he builds a strong relationship with dad. It also gives me time to do other things. Consider a nanny. I’m busy interviewing a few but I’ll hire probably around August when we move into our new home.

I hear you. I definitely can see it is a lot of work, but it is very rewarding and fulfilling work as well. I just want to do it like you, be married. I want that nuclear family thang. I’m not going to settle for less. I want a husband that ADORES and loves his child(ren) more than his own life.
If they had been separated for almost a year, out with other females, and clearly wasn’t wearing his wedding ring, and she still didn’t see that her marriage was over, then obviously the girl was in denial. She refused to accept the truth for what it was. Sure, he had sex with her a few weeks before he filed for divorce, and yes, she has his two kids, but that’s no reason to think that he was gonna stay with her. She’s hanging on to something that’s gone and in the public eye that’s really making her look desperate. Just hope this has as little an effect on the kids as possible.

I think you’re right… I do need some help while hubby is gone. I would get a nanny but I’m so protective of her. Even when my husband is caring for her, I can’t sleep because I’m worried, even though I know he’s great with her. Maybe as time goes by I’ll loosen up. I’m trying to get my grandma to move down here with us. She’s reluctant because she doesn’t want to move but I know I’ll need her. How old was he when he became colicy? Yes, get married first. It makes it easier and you feel more secure. I was married for 9years before even getting pregnant. I never thought about having kids until my husband started begging me to take a break from my career and focus on family. It just seemed surreal to me, being responsible for a precious life. I didn’t want the responsibility. I gave up my job though and I wouldn’t change it for anything. I’m so happy that I was blessed to become a mother. I was on birth control when I conceived. I know God doesn’t make mistakes though.

I was raised by my granny (mom’s mom) and I had a nanny because both my parents had very demanding careers when I was born. I actually had a fight with her because eversince I moved out she behaves like she doesn’t have a grandchild. Partying around at her age. Shameful. LOL.
Colic normally starts at 3 weeks and boys are more *****e to it than girls. It should subside at 3 months. As long as you burp her and get the gas out, she should be fine.
Are you not going back to work? If not it’s better to have your children back to back. Get it over and done with. Just be careful if you are not yet ready. You are extremely fertile at this point. Don’t be surprised when your little one is 3 months and the dr tells you you’re having another one. LOL.

It seems like forever away, but pregnancy goes by fast. My grandma also helped raise me while my parents worked. Besides my mom, she’s the only other person I’d want to help me with my child on a regular basis. LoL, that’s good though, she’s still a vibrant young thing! Nothin’ wrong with that.
Did you bottle feed your son? I read somewhere that bottle fed babies are also more *****e to it, I guess because formula milk can be more harsh on the tummy than the mother’s milk. As of now, I don’t have plans to go back to work. I would like to stay home with her but if my job allows I might work less than part time a few days a week. LoL, they said they would try to cater to what I’d need. Hubby doesn’t want me to work though if I don’t want to leave her. It would be easier to make the decision once I find out if my grandma will be moving here. LoL, we’ll see how the next few months go with this baby, then I’ll decide how much longer I want to wait. I was an only child and loved it, but I know hubby wants another one. LMAO…. I know it’s common to have kids that are like 1year apart. My neighbor had her first, went for her 6weeks checkup and was pregnant again. SMH

@ MarriedMommy…I breastfed stricktly for 3 months but I had to cut out gas inducing foods. LOL. We were 7 kids. I enjoyed it but I have no desire to have that big a family. If it were up to hubby, we would. What line of work do you do? Honestly, as much as I like being a mom I would never be a housewife. My mom worked and it’s what I deemed normal. Besides, i’d die of boredom. My son is in creche now, so I would be bored.

I was a program manager at a teacher certification program. Basically people who have degrees but want to change their line of work can go through our program to get certified to teach. I never thought I’d see the day that I would be a housewife. LoL, the idea was never fulfilling to me. It wasn’t until I almost miscarried and had to go on complete bed rest, partly from working so hard, that I decided that I needed to leave work and concentrate on having a healthy pregnancy. My parents both worked. I always wondered what housewives did all day everyday, it just seemed like such a lazy way to live life. LoL, I’m thinking of just doing substitute teaching when she gets a few months older.

Girl yes! I hate the thought of day cares. They’re a blessing for people who don’t have a choice and there are really good ones around but a whole lot of children together scares me. The germs, chicken pox, pink eye, etc… But I worry so much, if it were up to me I’d home school as well, but I don’t want my child to be totally secluded.

I am an advid reader of bossip and I have never commented, but,this is getting tiredsome.
I don’t understand why ppl keep saying she had
kids and that she was already married before because that really doesn’t matter…the kids had nothing to do with this. There are 80% of households that are ran by step-parents. How you enter into a relationship/marriage is how you are gonna exit it. They should have kept their private life separate from their business life and none of this would be playing out in public. They chose this route by broadcasting their business from the start. I hope that they can be cordial to each other after all of this is over…at least for the kids involved. Tameka and Usher knew what they were doing when they started this relationship. You reap what you sow. They both need to ask for forgiveness, pick their lives up and move on…that is if it’s truly over! I will keep them in my prayers.

We just need to come under complete subjection eventually.
I was what you would call a real hot gyal in J.A. and I still am, just in a diff way. You can only follow the book completely when God’s will becomes more important than your own. At my church women are not supposed to wear jewelry, heavy makeup and pants. But I do. I am called to Christ first. Not to man. God will tell me what to take off.
