All I have to say is, who gives a damn? Tiger Woods is happily married, and rich and wealthy, so I’m certain he doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. If his Black father felt it was an issue that his biracial son was having issues about his Black identity, he’d have done something about it, but it seems perhaps the problems with his blackness might have stemmed in his father’s views. Therefore, he has a right to think what he wants, marry who he wants, and spend his $$$ how he wants. He has no effect on my life whatsoever, and Im happy in who I am. We should all be happy with who we are and how we look. If we are, then other people’s self assessments won’t make us so angry.

I read alot of the comments and i think the why alot of people have negative views about his blackness is that he tried to deny how black he really is..You tell me…all the blacks I know are mixed with some other race..we are not true Africans..I am mixed with white, indian and LORD knows what else..but when it comes down to it, I am looked at as a BLACK AMERICAN…sooooo Tiger get with it…

I like Axel and I am black. And I don’t think that Tiger should just be considered black. I am sure he feels that since his mother raised him that if he just said that he is black he would be denying his heritage on his mothers side. As a product of Jamaican & Cuban parents, I am very proud of my CULTURE and do not shy away from my ETHNICITY as a BLACK WOMAN, nor do I insult the people, MY PEOPLE of the same…no matter of their cultural upbringing/differences.
