Bill Cosby Rides Against Tupac

Bill Cosby recently blasted a dead and gone Tupac at a forum. Via Philly Daily News:
Typical of Cosby’s style of stinging and controversial commentary, he also faulted the love shown to the late rapper Tupac Shakur. He said it was crazy for Shakur, who was fatally shot in Las Vegas in 1996, and his mother to enjoy the proceeds from Shakur’s drug sales. “In the book, ‘To Momma With Love,’ or something like that, he is so happy that he’s able to take money from selling cocaine and give the money to his mother,” Cosby said. “How wonderful. Isn’t that wonderful. You’ve got to be kidding. How many lives have you ruined selling packets? How many mothers are not going to go to work because they want to snort? How many dead mothers because of crack, how many babies we got to make turn around because they are crack babies?” Cosby said the house Shakur bought his mother should be adorned with the pictures of users who died due to drug use. “Hang up the pictures of the people’s lives you ruined,” Cosby declared.
For the record, Tupac said he wasn’t good at selling drugs and went on to entertainment to make a living. For the record, Bill Cosby has been accused by several women of drugging and having sex with them while unconscious and has settled some suits out of court. 13 women have accused the pervert to be exact . The talented legend is dead, STFU old- man. Bill needs to stop all the preaching and go to the hood and airlift some people out of that environment.

Rather than trying to spit on Bill for the sake of Pac, how ’bout the fact Pac’s mom was a crack fiend, and if anyone knows the effects of drugs she does… But Bill has a point, drugs fuck up the community and shouldn’t be held as the way out, cuz its never anyones REAL way out.
How about Bill and his many apologists putting in perspective that one of his own daughters(and some of their kids) was a crackhead(were crackheads) while he is being overly critical of everybody else and I am not dissing Bill for the sake of Pac. There was no excuse for all of Pac’s mistakes but it is the same for Cosby. I will say this though. I wish us that do spend foolishly did not spend foolishly,that us that don’t value academics did, and that some of us were so stupid as to attribute the opposite of this as acting white but all this can be said without feeling the need to apologize to white folks for our mistakes or justifying the propaganda once again that as a whole black folks ain’t shit(we have enough folks doing this we don’t need another spokesperson.)My other thing is he made a point to call out middle-class and low-income blacks w/o ever once acknowledging the fact that affluent blacks are guilty of some of these things.I applaud them for their accomplishments and wealth and get tired of less successful folks hatin when some of have not put in the effort but lets be real for one example. Some of the spending you see amongst regular blacks stem from them trying to emulate affluent black folks and I think this being overdone is not constructive or cute. But I see no need of black folks with money washing their hands of the black community and its problems regular blacks have when they are guilty of the same stuff.
