Whitney Houston’s voice is Damaged. her voice sounds NOTHING like it did 10 years ago. She’s hoarse, very hoarse. King of sad that she use to be the baddest Chick in the game. But this vocal is on par with MUCH LESS talented women like Keyshia, Monica, Deborah.

Good song…but too many words….She had to fit to many on each verse making the song less emotional and more choppy. There should have been some editing before the actual recording. However, I’m a Whitney fan to the end. Her voice sounds great and I look forward to the album. I hope it’s a good one. We are with you Whitney!

I am really proud of Whitney for trying to conquer her demons. And I know its an everyday struggle. But anyway, I think the song is real inspirational. Not only to other people whom, just might need it for an uplifting in their own lives. But it sounds like it means more to her than anyone.

I’m just glad she’s back. Some don’t like this song but this song has A LOT of meaning for because it is a COMEBACK for her. She’s telling a story, HER STORY so it’s not going to be her typical over the top vocals. She has been gone for a long time and her voice was damaged for a while so she needs to take baby steps back into the spotlight. Yall think she can just pick back up where she left off from “I will always love you” and that’s just not reasonable! Drugs kill your body and they have damaged her voice. Beyonce is by far one the BEST ENTERTAINERS/ARTIST/SINGER EVER! Beyonce’s version of the National Anthem, even though it followed Whitney’s, rivals Whitney’s version & is arguable better. Beyonce has excelled at every critism of her time & time again. She does not always lip sych & she’s proven to be a master vocalist both live & in the studio. 20 or 30 years from now, Beyonce will be seen as someone who revolutionize music of this era just like Whitney & Mariah of the late 80s & early 90s. Let’s not forget that Whitney was considered a sale out back then. Whitney did not deliver on this track & it’s too cheesy. I love Whitney & I’m happy to see her doing better but sista can’t sing anymore & needs to sit down like Chaka some of the other older singers. It’s ok to age but age with diginity & grace. Please!

I’m really proud of Whitney. I am glad that she is using her hardship in a song of inspiration. I do agree that the track in and of itself is not the best, a bit to “manufactured” for my own taste – could have easily been an album track from one of her ultra-poppy mid-80′s ballads – but the lyrics are beautiful.

I wish her all the success in her comeback, and now that she knows what the bottom feels like, she can really appreciate all of the new blessings that come her way should she make it back to the top.

I’m so saddened by what has happened to Whitney’s voice. That’s not the same Whitney who sang “I will always love you”. This Whitney can’t hold a candle to the Whitney of yester year. I feel so sad about this, but one must pay for the consquences he/she makes.

I am glad she is trying a come back, however the song is NOT very interesting vocally. The content is good, but the deliverance is boring. Absolutely no emotion, highs, lows, nothing, very bland performance. I hope she does’nt reduce herself to the summer outdoor festival circuit with this.

When I first heard this song…it gave me chills….no she doesn’t sound like she did back the early 90’s but the woman can still blow! The emotion that she points into this song shows her own personal struggle. I love it! This is 2009 Whitney and I am feeling it.
