More than a year ago, Karen Edwards, a 31-year-old mother from England decided, along with her partner Shaun, to sell their car, rent their home and travel after their newborn daughter, Esmé, was born. After Esmé’s birth the family first traveled to Ireland to visit relatives and then jetted off to New Zealand, reports SheKnows.com. Thereafter, they traveled to seven other cities throughout the year, leaving now 17-month old Esmé’s passport almost filled to capacity. The interesting decision to travel during Esmé’s first year came from Edwards who works as a nurse and owns the travel site, Travel Mad Mum.
