Meet The 4-Year-Old Kanye West Sampled Preaching On “Ultralight Beam”

Wonder where Kanye West got the voice of the little girl preaching on his new song “Ultralight Beam?”

The rapper somehow stumbled on a viral clip of 4-year-old Natalie preaching to her mom in the back of a car. The amazing video inspired Yeezus so much, he put in on his album!

Via XXL Mag:

The song, an early fan favorite off the album, opens with a toddler’s voice invoking what sounds like, appropriately, a church sermon. “We don’t want no devils in the house, God!” proclaims the precocious little angel. “We want the Lord, and that’s it!”

Turns out that toddler’s name is Natalie, and she’s on Instagram with less than 800 followers right now. The audio that was used on the album was posted three weeks ago on January 21 by Natalie’s mother Taerinda, and it’s unclear how exactly Kanye found the clip, as Taerinda only has about a thousand followers on IG herself.

If you explore Natalie’s page, you’ll find her strumming the guitar for a ballad to Jesus, teaching her momma a couple things, or just generally being absurdly cute. Whether she’ll be getting any royalties from the sales of Kanye’s new LP remains to be seen.

This is truly a God’s dream!
