This woman, 20 yr-old Sahel Kazemi, was with the married Steve McNair when he was murdered yesterday, his body shot several times. The woman had a boyfriend named Keith and we have more pics and details under the hood
According to reports, Steve McNair was telling Sahel he was going to be leave his wife and they were going to be together. McNair met her at Dave & Buster’s where she was a waitress. Police found the gun next to her body, not McNair’s. Was it a murder suicide? Some speculate this was a ‘passion murder’ either by McNair’s wife or a jealous boyfriend. According to the *****ociated Press:
McNair, who led the famous Tennessee Titans’ drive that came a yard short of forcing overtime in the 2000 Super Bowl, was found dead on a sofa in the living room Saturday with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head. His friend, Sahel Kazemi, was very close to him on the floor, killed by a single gunshot. A pistol was discovered near her, but police said it took a while to find the firearm.
Authorities didn’t immediately say who was to blame for the killings, but they weren’t looking for any suspects.
McNair, 36, and Kazemi were together just two days earlier, when she was pulled over driving a 2007 Escalade registered to her and McNair. She was arrested on a DUI charges, and he was allowed to leave in a taxi.
McNair and Kazemi apparently knew each other from a restaurant the quarterback and his family frequented, but workers there wouldn’t talk about their relationship. Police also refused to release any details about their relationship, simply calling Kazemi a “friend.”

Steve didn’t deserve to be murdered for cheating. The reality however wrong is that affairs happen…it does not justify anyone being murdered. It is something to be learned from just like any other life experience or mistake that people make. No one here is perfect or has the right to sit in judgement of him; your mistakes are not better. McNair is the best, and a cl***** act. No man is without faults, but basically this was a good man who took care of his family and kids. Back when hurricane Katrina hit, he went deep into his pockets and donated food, clothes, money, and time for the relief efforts. Maybe he did cheat on his wife, but by all accounts he wasn’t abusive and did what he was supposed to do for his family by spending quality time and money with them. He came from a tiny historically black college in MS and faced all kinds of scrutiny when he arrived in the NFL because they thought blacks were not smart enough to play NFL QB—let alone a country black from a small school. They even tried to move him to another position, but he would not switch. He responded by becoming one of the best QBs the league has ever seen. I will never forget the way he played in that Super Bowl and the play he made late in the game to extend that drive. He should be looked at as a hero to all Americans–especially blacks. He was hated on and discriminated against and didn’t let it stop him; he never lost his confidence or work ethic, and proceeded to make himself into one of the best. Hey girl, well, I must admit, I had to ask my brother to tell me who he was when I first heard his name on the news. Whatever good McNair did in life is now tarnished by the scandal of his death, and all of it was preventable.

I’m not saying his “altruistic endeavors” should be ignored, but I think it’s fair to say that his murder, and subsequent media coverage, casts a pall on his “legacy.” During a holiday weekend, when many people are with their families, he was spending time with a 20-year-old who was not his wife, and his body was found with hers. Instead of calling this man a “hero,” I think more attention and concern should be paid to the family he left behind, and how this tragedy could have been avoided.

It’s pretty obvious what happened. McNair was shot by his jump-off. He was lying to her like he was lying to his wife. He probably told her he would leave his wife and they would be together.

I thought his interview in The Tennessean was interesting — According to him, his ex-girlfriend had planned to break up with McNair. It’s obvious that he hadn’t gotten over her — They had dated for four years before she broke up with him to date McNair.

I am not trying to be disrespectful, but two days prior they were together(Steve in the front seat of the Escalade) when they got pulled over due to her DUI, she REFUSED to take a breathalyzer test and was quoted as saying, “I’m not drunk, just high.” My question is: Why would he even allow her to get behind the wheel of a vehicle if she was under the influence? The authorities took her and allowed him to leave in a cab because he did no wrong. I don’t understand men. Not a smart move.

The strangest thing about this right now is the fact that i am a married and pregnant wife of 3 kids to my 36 year old husband who is currently cheating on me with a 20 to 21 year old girl. I do not wish death on anyone, however Steve did hurt his family and my husband is hurting me and his own family. When you do this, sometimes you end up paying for the consequences the hard way, but death is definitly not the way. I am hurting and feeling hurt for his wife and kids and all the families who are hurt by this.
My heart goes out to both victims family,especially Steve McNairs children. I think that what is important in all this is that another set of children will be fatherless. Another person under the age of 25 was needlessly taken away.
Whatever the cir*****stances, this is a tragedy. God Bless their families with healing and rememberance of each person of the postive about that person-this is someones son,brother,father, uncle and sister, neice,daughter-people will hopefully think of these things before judging to harshly.

No forced entry and no sins of struggle. The killings were done quickly and calmly. The girl pulled a murder suicide. If his wife was waiting in the condo (she may have a key), one of them would have tried to run as the first was being shot. The bodies if found close together would mean a quick murder. Crimes of p*****ion are confrontational not professional. His wife may have slipped the key to her boyfriend and let him handle the business. Still murder suicide looks most logical.

Cheating usually leads to domesitc violence, STD rates inflating, and the ultimate response as we see here, a rage-related act of murder.
Multiple scenarios but usually the simplest one is correct. He had multiple shots and her only one. Maybe the BF but he would be angry to her. The wife possibly but likely both would have suffered multiple. No she popped him 1-2 times and then stepped in to make the point final and then single for herself. Logical but still sad. Mostly for the family that likely has been blindsided.

The worst thing about it is the fact this girl mocks me and laughs about how i only have the title and she has his body heart mind and soul, no consideration what so ever that this man is actually hurting his family. Although he did like to go out with his friends on the weekends for a few drinks, but he always came home to me and he would always say he loves me and we never had problems in the bedroom…until recently when he started to not come home at all until the next day and not really showing me any attention, i grew suspicious and one night caught him on the phone at the house around 1 am with this girl..the marriage went down hill from there..and i’m hurting real bad everyday about it..been 4 mo now since i found out and he is still doing this..

You must have been raised in a household with parents who were married before you were born and are still together, and have grandparents who are the same. I am sorry you are going through this. Amidst the pain, please constantly send your unborn child the energy of love and protection that it needs. What your husband is doing is selfish, more so because he is affecting not only you, but your kids and your unborn child. A man that is this selfish at this point in time won’t just won’t drop everything and come back to you. The most important thing is to not let him control you. i.e at anything nice he says feel hope that he “might change”. It’s sooo hard, I know from personal experience. But don’t let him completely dictate your emotions or you will feel like you are losing control of yourself.

As a black woman, I know that I am fundamentally harmed and wounded daily by the planet wide perception that we are not as attractive to ANYONE as non-black women. That many potential mates, even of our own race, find us ugly, lacking in charm and desireability compared to white (or persian or *****yrian or whatever flavour of vanilla you want to p***** it to), asian, hispanic or probably even eskimo women. It HURTS. Even if you are in a loving relationship. I know of a situation where a young man was killed here in my hometown, by another man for stepping out with the other man’s girl. The wife of the man killed cancelled funeral arrangements once the true story broke of why the man was killed, held a small ceremony at the local crematory and when they presented her with the ashes, she promptly dumped them out of the urn into the nearest trash can on her way out the door in front of his whole family and hers!
This guy was cheating,and his wife knew it. Her worse fear did not come to p*****, that he would leave her and the children, but morely likely a fantasy that he would one day have to pay with his life. Sad for the children; they are the only ones who are truly innocent and touched by tragedy in this terrible situation.

As a black woman, I know that I am fundamentally harmed and wounded daily by the planet wide perception that we are not as attractive to ANYONE as non-black women. That many potential mates, even of our own race, find us ugly, lacking in charm and desireability compared to white (or persian or *****yrian or whatever flavour of vanilla you want to p***** it to), asian, hispanic or probably even eskimo women. It HURTS. Even if you are in a loving relationship. Even if it is a “swirl” relationship wherein, in the eyes of much of the world, your personal attractiveness has somehow been validated by your partner’s race and supposedly “superior” status. Inside us, it hurts. I don´t beleive many of us ever get over the subtle or not-so-subtle constant belittling of our features, attributes and selfhood. So yes, I can understand the bile about the race of Steve McNair’s jump-off.

What happen to McNair needs to happen to every man in his predicament. When will black men ever learn… are there no real black men left? Get a little money and fame and they start acting stupid. @Treez – No low self-esteem here my friend. Just recognition of the facts of life. I won´t bother puffing up my accomplishments, they could definitely be better for 1 thing. I´ve not sat back feeling sorry for myself at all. I´ve generally gone after life’s possibilities and realized a good few of them too. But let me ask you this, when you read some of the posts on this site, do you not get the feeling that you are dealing with a deeply wounded animal (speaking of people of colour)? Do you truly believe that we can go through what history has dealt us and continues to deal us without consequences that need to be acknowledged before they can begin to be repaired?? Do you think the history of the Jews does not directly impact on their behaviour (reprehensible in many ways) in the Middle East right now? And THEY at least, are reacting from a hard won position of some power. First off, everyone is really missing the point here. Regarless of race, the man used his fame to cheat on his wife with a younger woman. With many pro ball players they have other stupid nieve young women on the side hoping for a break up in a marriage. I doubt he was leaving his wife because ball players won’t leave a good woman for an easy trick. I truelly feel that her boyfriend was jealous and got back at both of them. It’s not about race it’s about another ball player cheating on his wife and it ended with death. I was in that position so I feel bad for his wife to have to find out about her husbands ways at his death. Young women or women chasing ball players need to get a life and quit throwing their stuff out so easy.. A real man may cheat but leave his wife and child when he’s basing his family life as a role model to kids, never. How do we know that he may have been telling her he wanted to end his relationship with her. we will never know. I think the evidence speaks for itself. Steve was having this girl as his side piece, he obviously thought if i get myself a young girl..barely 20 years old i can put her up in a condo..get her a car and i can have my lil fun on the side. No harm done.. what my wife dont know wont hurt her.But Steve wasnt keeping it real with her..you cant be telling a woman (no matter if she’s 20 or 40) that youre gonna leave your wife for her..and then dont do it. At that point youre playing with a persons feeling and emotions. This girl told her sister he was gonna leave his wife..she knew she was gonna be humiliated if it didnt happen. Steve’s life was over when they got pulled over..on thursday..she got arrested..early in the morn..while they let Steve go home in a taxi. She’s sittin in jail *****ed off cause dude didnt come and bail her out..*****ED!..the police confirmed -the gun was bought thursday evening..as she sat in jail she said “uma kill his *****”..and her Iranian,hot tempered ***** wasnt playing. She buys the gun (right after getting outta jail) Steve comes over friday..trying to explain why he just let them take her to jail..why he didnt bail her out..instead of him kissing *****..giving her a hug..and sexing his way out of it…he got *****ed too..and gave her attitude..”How the ***** could i bail you out?..that ***** woulda been front page news! at this point she realizes..im just a peice of pssy to him..not the future wifey he told me i would be..dude had no idea just bought a burner. Dude sits down on the couch realizing he has to end it..i gotta tell this girl its over..as he figures out how to do this in his mind..she’s wiping back tears as she goes and gets the burner. the fact that he was found dead sitting on the couch tells you he didnt even have a chance to try to talk her out of it..cause he woulda at least stood up. WHATS THE MORAL OF THIS STORY? you got alot of women out there..getting minimum wage..dreaming of being swept off their feet by some rich man and living the glamorous life. I will say this, McNair should have thought about his sons and his wife before cheating. It is sad for the kids and wife and justice for the cheaters. Should the wife be sad over McNair murder or his cheating? Can the pain of cheating overcome the sadness of murder and for that she feels no sadness for his loss since he was a cheater? Don’t you ladies feel like killing a cheating spouse, so the wife should be relieved now rather than sad.

I know so many women that age 18 to 25 (college years) who were cheating on their husbands and boyfriends too, some with me, some with my friends and some with me & my friends. Those were “the Promiscuous years.” Though we were young & in our sexual prime (a good reason yet poor excuse), but do they deserve “the Death Penalty?” That is “Distorted Thinking.” I know a few hundred people who would be dead if that was considered “justice.” Ever since the dumb (selected) president, george W. Bush (who I give indirect credit for helping Obama to be Elected), we think it’s cool to make up words, read upside down, and be dumb about Geography and everything else. A simple fact check or a wait & see (all the facts) approach, would avoid an appearance of being ignorant. Remember, “it is better to be *****umed a fool, than to open our mouths and remove all doubt!”
The more I read from Mr. McNair’s fellow coaches & players in Baltimore & Tennessee, the more I can see most of y’all don’t read additional sources of info. “Reading is Fundamental,” and ESSENTIAL. 1) He was saved. A former team-mate was witness to that. 2) Money, tallent, hard work & ability don’t make you mature. As I look back on the immaturity of “my promiscuous college years,” I made some of those same mistakes, even years after college. Thank God I didn’t get shot or killed. The funny thing is, that people (especially men) that seem to get rich so relatively easy, usually don’t mature until 40, 50, or even 60 years old. The rest of us are forced to mature much sooner. 3) He only met her 4 to 6 months ago. Do you really think he told her that he was leaving his wife and 4 sons? Or, even if he did, was she crazy enough to believe that? Obviously she was “a little off,” to say the least. By the way she teased that cop during the DUI arrest, she wasn’t naive. They were playin’ each other. She was a sick (sloppy) kitten. And he apparently had to mature a little more, he just ran out of time. Remember, “We know not the day nor the hour.”
