Yes I am black and I’ve been working for child support enforcement for the last 11+ years. So I know of which I speak. Hell, I am in L.A. where there are more ninjas than the law allows and in an office of 200 employees, there are only about 8 or 9 black men. This is because my job runs background checks. If your credit if f’d up or you have a criminal record, you are sh*t outta luck.

If you only have 8 or 9 black men working at your job it may be that the hiring officials are not hiring black men. In fact your job seems like they are discriminating with those type of statistics. There are plenty of eligible black men to work but alot of firms would use any excuse not to recruit them

In contrast where I work the population of blacks is about 300 in which about 130 are men. We do all kinds of back ground and fiduciary checks. so I guess it is a matter of your environment how you will perceive how black men behave.

I knew black men had issues long before i started working for child support, but you are right that working there has helped to tarnish my image of the black man. If you could see and hear the nonsense they exhibit you would be affected as well. I usually don’t go around speaking ill of black men (after all I am raising a son), except to say that they are no longer my preference. I do it here in response to the venom being spewed by Marquis and Kigali about black women. Rather than put us down, they need to show some respect for all that we have accomplished and stop talking about weaves, body weight and other juvenile nonsense.

Oh, I’m sure I would be affected if I saw and heard what you do on a daily basis. An attorney friend of mine used to work on criminal cases, and she saw an entirely different side of life than what I’m accustomed to. But try not to let the misery and pathos affect you to the point of increasing your pessimism.

The same goes for trolling on this site. I know it’s hard to ignore the denigrating remarks thrown at black women, but please realize that it’s done for the purpose of provoking a reaction. I alone am responsible for 4,000 cases and I don’t just deal with the non-paying mofos. I also do not base my opinions solely on my job. I grew up in the hood and now live in a predominantly white area and while there are some black men who have their sh*t together, they are NOT in the majority. I have plenty of black male friends and family members who are trifling as hell too. All I can do is do my best to make sure my son doesn’t turn out to be one of them.

His own wife told the police he didnt come home for two days. She knew what was going on. She allowed him to get away with it so he kept on. He probably did want to leave her because she was passive and allowed him to do that mess. People get bored in marriages and start looking for something new. But if they can get away with doing what they without having to go thru divorce proceedings they will. He was out in public with this chic so he wanted to get caught and was spending ample amounts of time with her which made her believe they were in a bonafide relationship. So why wouldnt she think he wasnt getting a divorce. He bought her a car and probably gave her money and other gifts. This kind of stuff happens everyday. I just feel sad for his kids and the feelings they may be experiencing at the loss of their father.

Yes, even though MJ had been out of the public eye for years after the trial, it still hurts so much that he’s gone. I can’t tell you how I felt when I heard the news. Thanks for the site! I will check it out. I lost my copy of Off the Wall years ago, and I just bought another edition off Half.com. They have some really good deals on old MJ CDs and other memorabilia. I would like to get a copy of the Moonwalker DVD as well.

No, I didn’t. How was it? Truthfully, it was hard for me to read/hear accounts of the abuse he suffered during childhood. I think that’s one aspect that hurts me most about his death — I think there was always part of Michael that was in pain. As much joy as he brought to others through his music, he suffered a lot in private. I will try to find a copy, though.

I’ve hated BET for a while now, and I’ve met people who have worked there and left because of the poor quality of programming, etc. Last week’s awards show was the final straw for me. All eyes were on BET that night, and it failed miserably — it was embarrassing. Millions of people tuned in and saw black people at their worst, and it was billed as a tribute to Michael. It was inexcusable.

We spoke to McNair’s realtor, who said Steve and Mechelle were selling their massive Nashville home to buy another one “near a lake.”

We’re told the Nashville home was set to be sold for $2.9 million, and that Mechelle told the realtor yesterday that she wanted the sale to go ahead as planned.

I think in the end his “girlfriend” issued him an ultimatum and she didn’t get the answer she was looking for so she killed him and herself (becuz if she couldn’t have him, neither could his wife). Nobody likes rejection.

He no longer gets a free pass and as someone who works on a major government base and live near DC I see people who voted for him already realizing we are in trouble. Our deficit is continuing to swell out of control and his stimimulus package was a poor idea. Our children’s children (if we survive as a Nation)will be working to get us out of his mess. Giving handouts to those who refuse to work or even pursue gainful employment is not exactly what I consider stimulating the economy.

Marquis de Sade, yes you are right if the Persian male comes from a rich family, but it depends if they are old school (or many centries behind, lol) or modern, how religious they are. If the guy is from an average family where the family isn’t wealthy and they just attend community college and get a decent job (or a Walmart employee), then if he doesn’t want to hook up and marry a Persian chick he’ll have a White baby momma, most likely, lol… Again, I haven’t seen a Persian guy with a Black chick. Well the thing is Persian guys are usually aggressive and so are the majority of Black chicks are also aggressive so you know that would an explosive combination, lol. Just because I haven’t seen a Persian guy/Black chick couple doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

His wife, despite the fact that they were married for a long time should have just served him his divorce papers, shed a tear and just moved on with her life. The fact that they were separated and not really in close contact is the motive for a divorce.

come on now. cheating on your wife is wrong, and i don’t condone it in any way, but he was a living breathing human being. he was a father, forget being a husband. so how can you sit there and say that he got what he deserved? nobody deserves to die, especially in that way.
