Janet Jackson hit up the Virgin Megastore in Hollyweird to promote her new album “Discipline”. There just seems to be something about Janet that doesn’t want to grow up. I mean still not mature enough for kids? She must want to start having babies at the age of 50.
Janet also went on Larry King to discuss opening for her brothers on tour:
“I would love to do it. I get my brothers on the phone all the time. I’m the biggest fan of the the Jackson Five. I have conference calls all the time pushing them to do a huge tour. I tell them if they did, I would love to open for them. They would love to, but one of them is on the fence. You have to respect that. Michael’s worked very hard at his solo career. I don’t know. Maybe he’ll come around. I’m still kind of working on him.”
What would a Jackson 5 tour be without Michael? They need his ass for that show to be successful.

I like the outfit. I would so rock that. I peeped bits of the larry king interview. Janet’s really whatever for me. I’ve never been a real janet fan b/c i’ve always thought she didnt have a voice. It’s like Rhianna’s voice, the same on every album. It’s the type of singing and voice where you have to read along while u sing.
Is this her last chance at a hit record or some *****? Some artists have incentive or performance based contracts like athletes with the deteriorating skills clause. If this don’t go at least gold, she’s prolly stickin to movies and J.D.’s *****. I know I’m a J.D. hater. ***** it.

The outfit and the wig are ugly! But it has nothing to do with her trying to be young! Janet has always had a quirky style that sometimes works, and often doesn’t. I watched the interview last night and she was far from immature. If anything she was sophisticated, cl*****y and introspective. It was actually a good interview. And Just because a woman doesn’t have kids it doesn’t mean she’s trying to hold on to her youth. Oprah doesn’t have kids, is she trying to hold on to her Youth!? Maybe Janet knows that she wouldn’t be able to provide the proper foundation and environment to raise a child. Everybody isn’t made to be a mother, and when you recognize that within yourself the MATURE thing to do is not have children. Its funny, if Janet’s hair and make-up were flawless and her outfit was cute no one would be calling her washed up or telling her to retire, yall would be wishing her well. And for the record, her album is getting good reviews and looks to debut at #1 on billboard come next tuesday. I’d say she’s doing pretty good so why should she stop making music?

Few thoughts, I saw her on Larry King and noticed that I don’t like the way she hardly opens her mouth when speaking, kinda like Paula Abdul. I thought, “is Janet trying to be super sexy”, “is she using botox,” is her mouth stiff…then she smiled and I realized it must be the former. Then I was amazed when they showed the MTV clip cause her voice sounded “normal”. Anyhoo, I also came to realize that she has had a great run and if she’s still got it…then milk it for all it’s worth.
BTW, she should really get on the stick and have those babies ’cause she’s working with old eggs and might have to end up adopting, or doing invitro, etc.
All of the Jacksons are reasons why you shouldn’t allow your kids to be in show business! Janet has been knifed up so much she’s starting to look like an alien, just like her white ***** brother Michael. And I’m not even going to start on Jermaine.

I don’t have a problem with the outfit at all. This is the problem I have with most of all black women today & fake hair. What is up with these BIG, horrible ***** wigs. I remember back in the day (now I sound old), we use argue up & down who had a weave. You almost had to feel a b!itch all up to see if it was a weave. You would have that part in the middle or on the side. We could look for the little track LUMP where you would use gel to blend it together. The shi!t was on point. Now you got these lazy women who will just put in ole wig on their head. You can see the wig from a block away. Then you have the rich lazy ones who are paying for expensive Lace fronts. During the removal process, these women are having their edges waxed right off from those strong adhesives. Now they have hairlines like men.
