I am really not feeling this “new” Alicia Keys. You know when she first came out she just seemed so real to me. Now she looks like this made up doll that her publicist and perhaps record company created bcuz that is what they feel the people want to see. Now don’t get me wrong. I think that Alicia is a very beautiful woman and I think that it’s nice to see her in more feminine womens clothing but I like the old Alicia too. She had style, finess and character. This new chick she is becoming looks kind of cheap to me and it’s kind of hard for me to relate to. She still has the lyrics but the look is all wrong!!

I think that at award shows and stuff like that… YES she should definately throw on the dress and the face paint. But at concerts and regular events…she needs to keep it real and be herself.

I feel you on the Alicia slowly becoming more of the “sex sells” type of artist, especially with her more feminine image and now using backing tapes during performances. If she dies her hair blonde, I will be forever through.

And it’s really funny how quick men are to tell women they need more breast/booty/hair/etc. I’ve had my share of that kind of ignorance, and I would go postal if not for living in Florida with mandatory gun sentencing. I think women need to stop taking these busters as-is and recommmend that they get their fade tight, hit the gym, put on some lotion, get their teeth fixed, trim/shave/wax their body hair, take care of those ugly feet, and step up their wardrobe. You don’t have to be messy in order to be considered straight. Thugs were so 90s, LOL
