He didn’t deserve to die, but when you get involved with fragile people who fall in love overnight and want you to leave your wife, those signs point to danger. If he was going to cheat, it should have been a one-night deal and that’s it. All of that other stuff taking her on trips and telling her he was leaving his wife for her (like many married men do) just got her deeper into the situation and she couldn’t handle it.

This should be a lessoned learned for all men out there who consider cheating on their wives, girlfriends or significant others. Love will make you do crazy things, but when you intentionally get involved with someone knowing it won’t lead to anything, you’re setting yourself AND your family up for something that will end bad.

A 20 year old is not a child I’m sick of people saying she is. A 20 year old can vote, get married, go to war, and have kids if they want to. If they are old enough to make those decisions then they are also old enough to know not to mess with a married man. Not saying McNair wasn’t faultless he’s more to blame as far as the affair is concerned than she is. But it does not excuse her getting involved with him knowing he was married and killing him afterwards.

The former Atlanta Falcons quarterback, whose federal sentence for dogfighting ends July 20, would we welcomed by The Minor Football League, consisting of professional teams in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

The president and founder of the MFL, Richard Myles, said Wednesday the league is willing to give him a place to play while the NFL decides his fate.

“One of the things that is important to the MFL is to showcase the quality of the players and the coaches who want to transition into the NFL, as well as give back to our communities by mentoring our youths,” Myles said.

“Every player in the MFL is required to perform 100 hours of community service. Vick could serve as an example to our youths by demonstrating good citizenship while maintaining his skills and edge playing with the MFL. I believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to redeem themselves and that Vick is on the right path to redemption.”

While it is a very sad outcome, the facts are what they are. if this man would have gone home he would not be dead, if he respected his marriage vows, he would not be dead. Life is full of consequences and repercussions, that’s why it is so important to not think selfishly and instead think rationally. My heart goes out to the 4 boys who will not have a father, the mother who will never see her son, the wife, who has to pick up the pieces and carry on. I just saw the police press conference..
Well there was no report at the conference about her being pregnant. But I know that was what a report reported earlier..

But the police said she had followed another woman days prior leaving Steve’s condo and was trying to find out who she was.
She believe he had another girlfriend and was “spinning out of control” in the last 6 or 7 days.
According to her friends she felt the “relationship was unraveling”
And that she wanted to “end it all” according to her friends.

Truth be told, this was an ex boyfriend of mine from about 10 years ago. His drug-addicted ex was nutz as hell and wouldn’t let go of him. We used to have the worst public fights because she would show up out of nowhere and start some shit.

The news has reported that his wife did not know anything about her. I’m sorry, but that’s some bull. Ladies may not have the name, address, social security number etc., but you know when your man is cheating and especially if he’s setting up homes and taking trips with the jump off. I’m sorry that she lost her husband because of this, but it just goes to show that having a “blind eye” in a relationship is no better just to have a happy home. I had a girlfriend once who was dating an NFL player (he never married her after 6 yrs of dating) and several people told her he was cheating. Her response? “I need dates and times…I don’t go off of rumors…I’m not going to let anyone else threaten my position.” Sadly, this is how some women think who enter into these relationships just so they can have some security. Chief Serpas of Nashville announced they are ruling it a Murder/Suicide. She was paying on the Escalade lease in conjunction to her other car payment. The roommate was moving out, leaving her with the the condo lease. She recently discovered that Steve had another chick on the side. The DUI. All of these revelations were too much. The cameras outside the condo did not show any other people in the area.

In another instance one of my boys’ (pro athlete) was getting married and by chance I met one of his Side Pieces at an industry event (*she was fine and I was trying to holla)… We were talking and having a random conversation and she brought up the fact that “he” told her not to come to the event and how much of a great couple they were, etc…

Little did she know that he was having a Million Dollar Wedding that I was going to THAT weekend!!! I was talking to her and was like DAMN how does he do it? He’s having a Million Dollar Wedding that is in the news and in magazines and she doesn’t have the slightest clue… SMH

It’s sad that he was murdered, but everything in life we do has consequences. Some people do not suffer the same consequences for similar actions, but there are always repercussions. As someone stated earlier, he paid the ultimate price for his adultery, some people lose far less. I think this should be a lesson to those who live their lives recklessly and do not think of the effects of their actions, particularly cheating spouses.

I dont think the lesson is as much about him having an affair, as it is about abusing someones emotions. Cheating with a willing victim is bad enough. Preying on a person with such low self esteem that he/she is willing to do just about anything thing to “be” with you. In this case, Listening to the shooters family. A divorce that his wife knew nothing about, and that he never even filed for let alone it be near finalization. He was blatantly lieing to them all! It certainly appears that McNair played with this woman’s emotions (I just read the other thread about her allegedly being stood up in Vegas — I still can’t get over her making payments on an Escalade with a waitress’s salary.), and I’m sure her reaction was nothing he would have anticipated. There are many victims in this tragedy, but I’m sorry (and I may get reamed), but I don’t think McNair is one of them. His actions have hurt many people. I feel for his children. For a father of four, he had a lot of time for his womanizing and revelry.

Robert Gaddy is reportedly Steve McNair’s best friend. Wayne Neely called Robert when he found the bodies, and Robert rushed to the condo. That means he either already knew where it was or was given directions. The 911 call was not made until Robert got there, so he had the correct address at hand. Something does seem a little off about the situation.

I also do not understand why this Wayne fella did not just call 911 immediately. He obviously knew how to work a phone, so there’s really no excuse.

This young woman reportedly also followed another woman home whom she had seen at McNair’s condo (I suspect his past activities in this condo is what prolonged his friends/associates from calling 911 — there’s more there, I think).

This crime could have taken another turn if Kazemi had decided to follow McNair home to his family with her 9mm in tow. As it is, I hope Mrs. McNair gets herself checked out physically. She was married to a very reckless man.

well i’m not gonna say the brotha deserved to die but i will say i don’t have any pity for him. i don’t pity him one tiny bit. if he had been home where he belonged he would still have his life. my only pity goes to his wife and children who now have to live with the humiliation that he left behind with his actions.

i thought about this myself. now had this been a sista he would have seen the warning signs a mile away but he couldn’t see anything in this crazy broad – or was he just willing to overlook them? i guess it just goes to further prove the point that the black mans claim that relationships get so much easier and euphoric when he is not with a black woman isn’t so true.

Well, I think that his wife should have just gave him a surprise divorce and moved on with her life. It’s obvious Steve didn’t want Mechelle any more and he was tired of her. It would have been better if he just completely moved out of their home and sent her the divorce papers in the mail and them went through the divorce proceedings.
