If they are gonna focus on the younger demographic – I don’t understand WHY they don’t bring back that show that they had years ago = “Teen Summit” and have “Free” & the Alien, I mean “AJ” host it… I used to watch that show and thought that is was very good and entertaining…

There are soo many topics that they could discuss that could help teens as they approach adulthood like:
- teen pregnancy
(*explain how tough it is to be a teen Mom)
- cyber bullying
- how to prepare for college
- teen dating and violence
(Chris Brown and Rihanna)
etc….

And then have an artist sit on a panel and express their viewpoints on whatever the topic is… OR have the artist JUST perform at the end if they ain’t too bright and all they’re good at is singing & dancing… SMH

OR

They could have a Black Version of Celebrity Rehab… starring Frankie, K-Ci & JoJo from Jodeci, Bobby Brown, etc…

Everybody has a family member or knows someone with a “substance abuse” problem = people would watch that…

Although, I tune into the Awards and Keyshia’s show, I don’t know about this new show with Neffie and her mama, though…
I’m not surprised that they have a show. Frankie is outrageous. Plus, she’s dating a ‘fetus’. She makes ‘good tv’. Neffie has some interesting baby-daddy drama… Neffie and Frankie are a great 2 for 1. Instant ratings. I can see the dollar signs.

I’m sure Keshia and Co hardly even had to pitch the show to the network (if at all).

I don’t know about this young boy, either. Seems like he could be just another ‘hanger-on’. Their sis is a star and they have to watch the company that they keep. This dude could be that one rare wacko that tries to blackmail Keshia or raid her home looking for sex-tapes and info to sell to the tabloids.
Can’t be bringing any and everybody into the inner circle like that.

I’m interested in understanding what’s going on with the production of this Frankie/Neffie show. I could have sworn that I heard something on the local radio about Keyshia fighting for creative control over the show. I think she’s one of the producers…or something along those lines.

How that can be — when Keshia’s guaranteed to make a percentage off the show’s earnings…?
Meh.
I like Keshia so I won’t jump all over her case about it. IF what I’m thinking occurred HAS occurred then it’s a good move on their part. Why not offer Neffie and Frankie a show and have them split the earnings?
Reality Tv is a fairly easy paycheck. No skills or experience required. Now Keshia doesn’t have to worry about Frankie and Neffie having to live off her. Plus, she still has her fingers in the project. Money for Neffie/Frankie. Money for Keshia.
Kill 2 birds with one stone.

The networks are competing for the trashiest, drama-filled Reality TV shows out there and I think Bravo is winning although the Jon & Kate thing is certainly an attention grabber…

I stopped watching BET back in 1999 when the channel went to complete sh*t. And yet, sometimes, I like to be entertained by mindless sh*t! LOL
So I may tune in.

But it’s just another avenue to make money. If there is a victim, then I’ll need someone to point them out to me. Way I see it, they’re all just riding the Reality TV wave straight to the bank.
