Vanessa Williams and Rick Fox helped their daughter sell Girl Scout cookies this weekend. Good to see some Hollyweird parents participating in their children’s lives. Williams, now divorced recently discusses her situation:
“I like being married. I enjoy having a partner. I enjoy cooking, traditional things. Being alone is something I am accustomed to, but I would prefer to be with a partner. Last year, in June, I had one upstairs, one downstairs (and) I was in the middle, in the master (bedroom) and we co-existed for a few weeks. It sounds crazy but it works.”

How old is their daughter 8,10,11? She has awhile before she grows up, and become just a beautiful as her mom (and if she doesn’t ever look like her mom, she’ll be an attractive and RICH young woman anyway). Vanessa is not 1/2 white for the last time. Did you ever see her parents? Both her parents were black school teachers. Very obviously black. Her dad was light and her mother is tan brown. Now Rick is half black. All of Vanessa’s kids turn out chunky. While she is exercising, they are eating. Vanessa also looks extremely aged. Not youthful at all for a 45 years old black woman. She has jowls.

I have, like many on this blog, have wondered why ‘Nessa’s kids are all chunky and she is a woman who exercises like crazy and starves herself to stay thin?
Nonetheless, I think that her kids are attractive but not the level of attractiveness of the parents.
I have heard Vanessa in interview talk about how she focuses on academics and developing her kids talents in a variety of areas. Her and her husband(s) are high achievers the kids probably eat to deal with the stress of having parents like them.

Shame on everyone p*****ing judgement on an innocent child. Look at old pictures of yourself, everyone has to grow into their looks. The child is changing from the baby fat phaseto preteen phase. Goodness, all the comments on chunky and quality of hair really says a lot for where your mind is. Vanessa and Rick are just human beings and so is the child. Funny how people expect makeup and lighting to carry over to real life. No celebritiy looks in person like they look on TV or in magazines because that is air brushing and hours of makeup.

That quote was “taken out context” people! Vanessa has stated in previous interviews that she has great relationships with her two ex-husbands… she’s just not good at the marriage thing. A couple of years ago (just after Vanessa and Rick split), she said that they all (including both exes) take a month long family vacation together. I think it’s sweet and nice for a change to see exes act like mature adults when interacting with one another and their children.

Y’all are brutal on Vanessa. I betcha there is not a woman on bossip that look as good as Vanessa look now, let alone when they get 45yrs old. The average 45yr old woman does not look like Vanessa. Between raising kids on their own, going to PTA’s, working 2 jobs only still live pay check to pay check, obestiy and bad cheap wigs, the average middle age woman look more like Loretta Devine than Vanessa.
Now I have to agree with a few post. I don’t know why all her kids look like Linebackers before they are teenagers. Her first husband was fat so her 3 kids by him got the same genes. I thought things would be different with Rick.
Having done some modeling and a little acting, I know first hand that stage lighting and makeup can be hell on skin…Anyones skin, black or white. She probably keeps a very rigorous schedule too. She just needs a little R&R. She isn’t all that young anymore ya know. Black does crack. We are not invincible. It’s that same mentality that is killing us, by not getting proper medical care and check ups. There is very little difference between races people.

Vanessa Williams is actually 1/2 White. Both her parents are “Black” but her father is only 3/4 Black and her mother has 2 mixed parents. Vanessa is technically and genetically 30% Black. She falls right between a Mulatta/Quadroon.

Don’t get ya panties twisted my fellow Bossipers. All I’m saying is that based on her DNA she is “about” 30% Negroid which is a little bit more white in her than an average 50/50′er. No big deal really. Black or whatever she is I don’t think she’s very dark. I’ve never heard of having more white necessarily making your skin that much lighter. I had a student once whose father worked NYC radio (1/2Black/White) andhis mom was this blonde white chick and the kid was spitting image of a darker Taj Mowery even though he only had 1 black grandparent. It happens. Sometimes the white has some swirl in it already or the Black is just really “thick” LOL.

I have not posted on this site in a while,but I see not much has changed. Where is this little girl “ugly”, she is darling. Some of you self hating people probalby think becasue she is not very light like her mom she is not cute. Not the case. She kind of favors her dad.
