The dentist and relationship expert dished on her book “The Business Of Love”, her PIQ dating app and gave her expert tips to women with unrealistic deal breakers.
On Claudia Jordan and her deal breakers:
She’s a wonderful girl, a beautiful girl. I started talking to her about relationships and why she didn’t have a man. Listen, she need a six-pack, he gotta look good, he gotta be making double six-figures, he gotta have a hairline […], I’m like girl at 40-something if you aint’ found it yet then how the hell am I supposed to find it?
On women finding husbands in college:
Undergrad? That’s the best time. Y’all were young and immature. I was looking for my man, I made a business plan. You have to have a great product, you have to be persistent, consistent and confident.
She also had this to say about submission, which she practices in her 20-plus year marriage to her husband Dr. Damon Kimes a.k.a. “daddy”:
Submission is a word, that’s all it is. If you look in the bible it means support, you’re a support system. You have to have a leader or there’s gonna be conflict. God has chosen for whatever reason for the man to be the leader and we have to go with it. […] If the man loves you like Christ loved the church, why can’t you submit to him?
