Donte Stallworth was released from jail early Friday morning. The Cleveland Browns player served 24 of his 30 day jail sentence for manslaughter at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami. I must say that although he was irresponsible and someone was killed because of it, he did do the right thing. He was the one that called the police right after he hit the guy instead of just hit and running.

The victim must have been of color. Enough said. Either way, it’s sad. What a great & unbias Judicial System we have in America. Color & Cash two of the biggest problems with the Judicial system.
WOW I feel you, but public outcry which is warped is what does it, not always money and color. If we complained like they did about things like this they wouldn’t be able to continue to act like our lives do not matter, this brother should really repent because their is no excuse for his actions. The problem is that intoxication is used as a mitigating factor in vehicular manslaughter cases. It should not be seen as a mitigating factor but evidence of the crime period. The State of MD does the same ish. Its crazy to me.
This ***** makes me so angry. How can Michael Vick get 2 years in jail and basically have his livelihood destroyed whereas Stallworth who killed another human under the influence driving gets 30 days?…surely it is the end of days

u people did read the whole thing right??? It said he paid the family off with a undisclosed amount of money. So if u pay off the family, u can get out of jail earlier. Damn, I didnt know that the family had anything to do with his death. Meaning, why the ***** does it matter if the family gets paid? The kid is gone….. Usually if the kid survives, he would get the money, but instead the family, who had nothing to do with the whole thing, gets paid mad cash and will humble themselves because money help people heal. *****in money is the root of all evil. They will be happy and rich for the rest of their lives!!! Not!!! Well see how this family feels after a few years of feeling guilty for taking the money because of his death. Its a damn shame what people would do for money. But then again I m ight do the same thing. But then i prefer to go to heaven over hell anyday….

If all reports are true–
This man made a CONSCIOUS decision to “party”.
This man made a CONSCIOUS decision to get behind the wheel of a vehicle AFTER partying.
This man took someone life because of his decisions.
He can’t pay with his own life but he can damn sure pay his debt to the family.
What about the person that lost his life? Did he have children? If so, why not set up college funds for them?
Hell–why not contribute to a charity that admonishes drinking and driving.

The victim was a Hispanic male.
Donte did what he could to avoid hitting the victim, which probably helped him getting a lighter sentence. He cooperated with the police, pled guilty and paid the family.
People keep forgetting that Vick lied to the FEDS, destroyed evidence so of course they wanted to throw the book at him.
Besides, he like Vick are both suspended indefinitely by the NFL.
He kills a pedestrian because he was drunk, and had weed in his system, and all he gets is 30 days?!?!?! And he was released after only 24 days?!?!?!?!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH OUR LEGAL SYSTEM?!?!?!?!?
