Snoop recently talked about his relationship with Dr. Dre on Chitown’s Power 92 Kendra G show. He says everything is cool with Dr. Dre but says he doesn’t need him to make a good record.
Click here to watch the interview.
Snoop Looked so cute and innocent in this picture what happened?!
damn that pic is old as f*ck because dre looks like the incredible hulk now and aww look at snoop this is when he was just a puppy…
Snoop I luv u to death but that’s not true!
WOW…but wait I haven’t heard a hit from Snoop since 2005 when he was with Neptunes…
SNOOP you may not need DRE but you daxn sure need someone…
Anyone remember when he turned into the Rottweiler in that video….that man looked just like that dog.
This is a cute pic though!!
I think that’s kind of wrong for Snoop to be saying since Dr. Dre is the one who brought him into the industry. He should be careful with what he says so he won’t burn any bridges in the industry.
He really need all the help he can get. I’m feeling “Sexual Eruption” but I miss the Dre & Snoop days for real.
What happened? Its called SMOKE!
That’s funny b/c I just was listening to “Paid the Cost to be the Boss” this morning. I love Snoop and the way he incorporates 70’s funk music into his songs. Even though he’s been in the game for over 15 years, he doesn’t try too hard to be trendy. (songs about the club;snap music etc.) He really doesn’t need Dre at this point…..
What Snoop is REALLY tryna say is that he doesn’t need to further dilute his profit by having to pay a top notch producer when he can basically produce his own or use someone that’s not as expensive.
He may not need dre but he need somebody!! All those tracks that everyone love so much was not Snoop alone! It was either Pharell or Dre who keeps him poppin, he can not do that alone
If you solely listen to the songs on the radio to “get” Snoop, you won’t. The songs that are relaeased don’t do his albums justice. I think Dre is a genius, but being an artist means you explore and right now they are both doing their own thing.
Gin and juice…that all I gots to say…
He may not need Dre for a hit song but an album, Maybe. I love snoop. He will always be my boy. However, I can honestly say that he hasn’t made an album that I can bang at least 7 songs from since his first album. Him and Dre have a chemisty that he just can’t get from anywhere else. Hopefully, he can pull it off anyway. Good Luck Snoopy! By the way. That is a very old pic and he was cute as hell. That was like what 15 years ago?
@ Du Damage
Sorry i don’t agree mang.
He’s more so known as a producer not a damn rapper. Although his “Detox” album never dropped he still stayed above ground by producing tracks for other people. If he’s just “A chapter in Hip Hop history” then he’s a pretty relevant one.
