Keinon, who also is the founder of the Never Sold Dope Apparel Collection, said this about his brand and the messaging behind it:

“I’ve noticed over the last few years that urban American culture has been growing more and more out of balance and only the most negative aspects of it are being celebrated and promoted through mainstream media. I wanted to show our youth that there are people who are not products of their hood and have actually made it out without resorting to selling drugs,” said Keinon Johnson, founder of the Never Sold Dope Apparel Collection.

Councilman Kwanza Hall also addressed the packed house and declared Friday, April 15, 2016 as ‘Never Sold Dope’ day in Atlanta. Additionally, guests received a sneak preview of ZuCot Gallery’s upcoming show titled The Spring Palette Cleanse, which is scheduled to open to the public Friday, April 22, 2016.
