Nas Tells Kelis to F*ck Off

Nas has decided to strike back at Kelis for demanding so much money from him in their divorce settlement! Nas says Kelis thinks he makes way more than he does.
The bitter divorce between the Queensbridge lyricist, Nas, and his songstress wife Kelis has been all but private. WIth Kelis requesting more than $10,000 a month to support the needs for her child and maintain the lifestyle to which she’s grown accustomed, Nas has spoken out on his intentions to support his ex and unborn child. In Kelis’ divorce petition, she claims Nas received $11 million in 2006 for his deal with Def Jam, when, in fact, he collected close to $4 million, reports AllHipHop.com Nas now claims that his monthly income has been lowered to $147,165. Of that amount his monthly expenses total about $71,372, including $10,000 alloted to his grooming, clothing and toiletries
Nas should watch out we see another tell all in the making right now! It’s not like Kelis has anything else to do.

@ Kami… I was also thinking about it today. I’ve never dated a man with kids and I don’t know if it would’ve worked if I had. When there’s a kid involved there’s usually some drama (witnessing what my friends who date men with children go through). It’s tricky when you meet someone else and want to introduce your kid to them and then things don’t work out and you move on to the next guy…and so forth. Some kids end up being resentful of their parents.

taking care of a child from a divorce standpoint does not have to be complicated…
put money in a trust for his/her education. u can also put money in a trust for after college if you choose to. you can also pay for clothing, private schooling, put the child on your insurance, etc. however, u don’t have to break $100K/month to keep up your former spouse so they can live the high life while not doing a thing.

Thats not the actual definition but these are some things you can do. I usually run on the treadmill for 20 minutes, hit the ellyptical for 20 minutes and get on the bike for about 10 minutes. However long it takes me to burn 500 calories.

I don’t think alimony and child support should ever be linked together. With the exception of those from the lower cl*****, sometimes the child suffers when child support is immediately requested, before the non custodial parent has a chance to show what they are going to do. The child can end up receiving less than what they would have if child support was never brought into the equation.

Yea but you still need cardio as well. I can do weight training all day, but if I don’t put in at least 30 on that treadmill, it’s not helping out w/ the toning. Honestly, some women it doesn’t matter how much excercise you do, if you had a baby you MAY not lose that belly because technically it’s just stretched skin, not fan. The only option is a tummy tuck. My BFF has a body out of this world. I though I had a coca-cola bottle shape. Her body is SICK! But she hated the loose skin around her abdomen. She just had a tummy tuck about 2 months ago now and looks damn near PERFECT!

Yeah, of course still do your cardio. What I meant was that, if you do a rigorous (not sitting around like most people do) weight training, you will end up buring more calories than the cardio.
Here’s why: (I only know this cuz I had a strength coach)- When you do cardio for more than 20 minutes, your body goes into survival mode, it starts to consume whatever uses the most energy, which is muscle. Also, when you are done with your workout that’s it, your calorie burn is over. When you weight train, you burn less calories over that same amount of time than you would with cardio, but your body burns calories at a higher rate for up to 48 hours. Also, you are building muscle which burns calories twice as fast as fat compared to actually losing it with cardio.
I was just saying that if you have hit a plateau or something like that, adding in some weight training and slightly reducing will cardio will give you big results. But definitely keep doing it.

That is correct. Im at the point now where I dont need that much cardio. Only when I go hard on the food I get it in. You can do some squats, crunches, and use free weights at the crib a couple of times a week and really maintain. Im no expert I just have always been interested in fitness.

He handed me an envelope FROM EVERYONE in the circle. He said “we just want you to know that we’re praying for you and thinking about you!”
I was soooooooooooo moved by that I couldn’t stop the tears!!!!!

Nas needs to pony up the dough. Granted, she doesn’t need a 100,000 a month, but being the mother of his chiid, she deserves at least 20,000. It’s not his responsibility to maintain the standard of living that they had while married, but he needs to care for the baby as any good father would. I think that he would not have been as nasty if she hadn’t started putting him on blast. She better learn to keep her mouth shut!
