JB Botswana IS in southern Africa…as in the region, that part of the continent Africa, not necessarily the COUNTY South Africa. I just don’t understand why a woman gets ostracized for NOT being racist and dating a black man just like he was any other guy. should she be racist and stop dating black guys just because they are black so people won’t rip her into shreds? that whole thing seems so ironic to me…almost contradictory. I’d love to see what people would say about her if she was overheard saying “ew…I’d never date him, he’s black”.

if you read my original post I made a reference to posts saying stuff like “he’s our man” “he needs to wake up” blah blah, those are the posts and posters I was referring to, and you would be dishonest if you said you look at these posts and see nothing racist or to the nature of “he’s our man why is he with a white woman”…I am fully aware that many many black men and women feel the same way I do about the issue. there are few posts in this very thread that are in line with what I’m talking about.

LOL…I love “mutts” I find that many “mutts” are the most beautiful people around both inside and out. I think mixed kids are absolutely gorgeous (most times) and seem to have a better understanding of things like racism and prejudice (most times), maybe because of their own experience growing up.

Interested in seeing how Reggie handles Africa. Not sure how African Americans see Africa. One thing’s for sure – South Africans are proud people and you gotta love the diversity! 11 official languages, different cultures and religions, urban and rural settings, beautiful landscapes, majestic animals and of course the greatest living icon – Nelson Mandela.

What I fine so amusing about alot of this “black women versus white women”post is that people seemed to forget that black women give birth to and raise the black men that the everyone find so desirable. How can you dislike a black women but love her son? Dark chocolate like Reggie does not come from cream, and usually it is really the chocolate ones that are chased after.Even the black men who put down black women speak as though they not talking about their mothers,aunts, sisters etc. People can be so shorted sighted.
