Maybe yall are being too literal about the interview. 1) “once he is a success story” indicates that he is NOT currently a highly successful platinum selling artist, right? Probably. And 2) just because he says “people will still go to his parties, buy his sneakers, belts and purses” doesn’t mean that this artist CURRENTLY has a clothing line or currently throws parties. But that’s what successful rappers do. He could just be speaking theoretically…like when this artist becomes a platinum-selling “success story” and gets his own clothing line – like platinum selling rappers ALWAYS do- then people will still rock with him, even after he comes out the closet. Apparently, this person is a highly talented artist and NORE thinks he can break barriers- as if NORE is a credible source to make that determination, but that’s neither here nor there…
